Apparently the next season is supposed to be entitled Drive Force (highlight to see).
I only ever watched the first two seasons of MMPR back when I was little...then I went and watched season 3 and Dino Thunder (cause Tommy was in it and I always had a crush on him!). God we're all such dorks

Tonight was Stranger Within pt 2...who caught it? Spoilers ahead, don't read if you don't want to know what I think! A couple of the things I liked: Vida transforming into Claire to trick the Rangers into letting her out of the circle: I could actually see Claire acting like this (thinking she was trapped in the circle even though she wasn't a vampire) as she seems a little airheaded. LeeLee: OMG Necrolai's daughter WTF! I was kind of leaning towards her actually being Necrolai, but this is still pretty darn cool. When Necrolai told her she was getting soft after 3 months with the humans...I was wondering, have the Rangers actually had their powers for 3 months? Or did Necrolai send LeeLee out preemptively because the baddies wanted to start taking over the city? Also, LeeLee wasn't too bad at the fighting! Vida and Chip: Awwwwww. They should totally get together. The Zord: Oooh wings! How fun! Koragg: He's a pretty cool villain so far. Seems honorable (when he told Chip he wouldn't destroy a weaker opponent). Now for my WTF moment. Starts with the whole Necrolai/how to kill the Queen of the Vampires thing. So Chip makes the Dawn crystal. This should kill her. However, after he shoots it, they bring their Magi staffs together to shoot the light-disc thing at her, supposedly finishing her off. Why the need for the light disc if the crystal was supposed to kill her? Then, we find out Necrolai is still alive and kicking, and somehow has the Dawn crystal (and crushes it). WTF? How did she just get it in her hands? Did she catch it before it actually hit her or something? And why didn't the crystal kill her? Lastly: Didn't Koragg tell the Rangers that in order to get Vida back, they had to defeat Necrolai (and THEN they could fight him)? So since Necrolai isn't dead, will Vida still be able to be manipulated to the dark side (and become a vampire again? Or is she still a vampire? Who knows!) Next episode is Xander-centric...I <3 his accent. |

Awesome episode! Cool new megazord spell. Who woulda' thought Leelee is the daughter of Necrolai?! I thought for sure she herself was Necrolai. That was a good twist to see.
