And just for the record, the runner ups for the PR cast were different; Trini was white, so was Jason, etc. The only likeness was that Zack was still black. However, I doubt they had put that much thought in which rangers they were going to be, costume wise. The final cast we see today, was still different. The original, original Trini was black/french (judging by her last name, Creole perhaps?). Her name was Audrey Dubois. For some reason, she later left so than they casted Thuy Trang. Still, MMPR is derived from Zyuranger (or however you spell that). So its not like oh, Austin St. John is part Native American, so lets cast him as the red ranger, etc. lol And at first glance, you can't (at least I couldn't) really figure out what ethnicity he was anyway. All I knew was that he was really cute. lol (Although Tommy was hotter, sans Zeo). Ironic how when Aisha, Rocky and Adam came along though, Aisha was the yellow ranger and Adam was the black ranger. Its too bad there has only been no more than 3 or 4 black female rangers. And if I remember right, they were all yellow. I'm rooting for a pink black ranger for sure.

Now, had they made Tommy Irish, I'd be suspicious LOL Just kidding. Jason David Frank is part Native American, and I liked how they had this whole story arc about his heritage in Zeo. Of course, by then he was the red ranger... CONSPIRACY! No, but anyway...When I was young, I used to think PR was sexist against Trini for not giving her a skirt like Kimberly. I used to huff and puff and think, TRINI IS A GIRL TOO!!! Now I understand why. lol A lot of people are about Austin's recent weight gain, but hey...he probably hasn't worked out/practice martial arts as of late. And look on the bright side, now the gay porn rumors (Sean Cody) can finally be put to rest. That guy didn't look anything like ASJ to me. Not to the point I'd mistake him, anyway. He was all jacked up on steroids; and Austin, even in his prime was never that buff. I liked watching the Morphicon clips a lot. It was great seeing everyone there (well, almost everyone) .
