I'm astounded anyone watching this series, or television in general, missed the Nimoy reference. I'm not judging, just astounded.
The old guy on Boston Legal, goes by the name of Shatner. Had you ever heard of him before? One a more advanced sci fi geek note: you all did recognize the motorcycle physicist from Battlestar Galactica, right? Anders, one of the Final Four toasters. It was really weird seeing him out of that character. I love how they got a modern sci fi guy to guest star in that role, though. An incestuous crowd, these people. Sheldon's hug with Penny may have been the funniest physical comedy aired this year. PERFECTLY awkward. Also: no love for the extended Superman exigesis at the start? |

I ADORE this show. And it had best ratings ever this week:
Ratings: 'Chuck' delivers for NBC, but CBS still rules MondayDec 16, 2008, 02:15 PM | by Tim Stack CBS' Monday night lineup just keeps getting stronger with all of its comedy series breaking respective ratings records, according to preliminary overnight numbers. Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother both hit 11.4 million during the 8 p.m. hour; that's Theory's best ratings ever and HIMYM's best audience since January 2006. Two and a Half Men, meanwhile, also had a blockbuster night with a whopping 17.9 million viewers, its best since 2005.
