What about that episode with that creepy clown in the funhouse in the amusement park where the kid stole its nose and then the clown went back looking for it?

This was one of my favourite shows as a kid.
Does anyone remember the one where this young girl moves into a new apartment building with her mom and there's this old lady who lives on their floor and the girl promises to have tea with her one day but instead goes out with her friends and then the old lady is apparently dead and she haunts the girl? It's creepy and so damn good. Oh and big red ecks on the Sardo hate, I hated his stupid ...accent on the do catch phrase. Also original midnight society >>>>>>>>> the new midnight society. |

The fact that I know the titles of the clown and the comic episodes without having to look them up is sad. The Tale of Laughing in the Dark and The Tale of the Ghastly Grinner.

I'm watching The Tale of the Ghastly Grinner on YouTube now. It's one of the best AYAOTD episodes ever.
I figured out the one about the girl and the old woman. The Tale of Apartment 214. Oh and I just figured out that JoAnna Garcia who's on Reba now used to be on AAYAOTD. |

The one with the old woman and the girl was really creepy when I first saw it. Old dead women are just scary.

This parody is pretty old, I posted it in OTs Youtube thread a while ago actually, but it never
fails to make me laugh. Watching AYAOTD episodes in a lead up to Halloween made me realize how awful the newer seasons were. The only one I liked was the season
premire with the magical board game. Of the "legitimate"episodes, my favorites are -The Shiny Red Bicycle(This one still is actually creepy to me)
-The Apartment episode(I don't know the exact name, but this one is still creepy too) -The Phone Police -The Gastly Grinner -Quicksilver -The one at the
boarding school where the mutants amphibians live -The Prom Queen(At the time, I couldn't predict the ending) -Fear Soup -13th Floor -The cinema one
-Pinball Wizard

The best one for me was the X-ray specks and the people all in black. I did that every Halloween for five years, just walked around all in black with a black
mask pointing at people.
The top ten shows of my childhood. 1. Are you Afraid of the Dark (1991) 2. X-men (1992) 3. Eerie, Indiana (1991) 4. American Gothic (1995) 5. Tales from the Crypt (1989) 6. Dark Skies (1996) 7. Dinosaurs (1991) 8. Higlander (1992) 9. Quantum Leap (1989) 10. Unsolved Mysteries (1987) |

Sounds like me, except for Highlander and Dark Skies.
