I'm rewatching from Season 1 again. This show was so f'n amazing. Such an incredible cast and such great writing.
There is ambiguity where there should be and effective creative writing where it should be. Chase isn't fit to hold Alan Ball's, well, balls. |

Alan Ball has signed on to do another HBO series -- True Blood. It's based on a series of Southern vampire novels by Charlaine Harris, which are apparently quite popular (although I haven't read any of them yet). |

Just a heads up that Best Buy is currently selling all 5 seasons for $16.99 each. I had downloaded all of the episodes and saved them on a hard drive, but for
that price decided to just go ahead and buy them. I can't wait to start rewatching.

1. This is my favo drama series of all time 2. I've never posted in this thread 3. I want to marry Brenda forever and ever and ever 4. I'm rewatching the series and I'm never not surprised by how fucking good it is. |

Perfect writing, acting, directing, cinematography... Best ending ever: "You can't take a picture of it, it's already gone.."

I rewatched season 5 recently and am going to start season 4 again soon (I'm going backwards for some reason). The finale is still so incredible and the
whole season seemed better this time around. I think my Maggie hatred blinded me a little bit when it was first airing. Seasons 1-2 are officially my
favorites, but now I'd say season 5 is just as good as both of them.
The real test will be season 4, which is the only season I've only watched one time through. I'll still think it's the worst season, but maybe it's a little better than I remember it. Episode 1 is amazing though |

Season 4 is the worst, but I mean, it's still great. The David/hitchhiker episode is easily my least favorite in the series, even though I liked where it
brought David throughout the rest of the show. They get rid of Arthur way too soon, and Brenda's storyline with the neighbor is such a waste of time.
But...still great stuff overall.

I've seen that ending atleast 20 times and I cry a little every time, the first time I saw it I cried for about an hour after. SO powerful.

I remember when I first saw the ending, I would cry just hearing the music. Didn't even have to see the visual. They were more $*#@* of satisfaction of a job well done than sadness. The sadness that came was because I wouldn't be seeing my "friends" anymore, but at least I didn't have to wonder what became of them. Thanks for posting that final 10 minutes, so I can enjoy it again. |

that remains the best series finale for any tv shows ever IMO. Perfect closure.
also.. I keep forgetting that the ringtone of my cell was taken from that track (Sia's Breathe Me).

I hope "Where The Wild Things Are" is a huge success, if no other reason than Lauren Ambrose is one of the voices.
