After the mouse is killed, Arthur tells Ruth it wasn't even his cheese, and then right away says "they have germs, they deserve to die." And then cut to the gay couple right as David puts cheese on a sandwich. Is this some foreshadowing, or what? I'm sorry, but knowing how editing works and even screenwriting, there is no way that this was just a random coincidence.

It was the kid with the ying/yang on his baseball cap, whom Brenda was banging and writing about in her book. He gave her a very familiar look. I'm going to have to go back and check out the cheese scene.

Fabulous awkward moment between Ruth and the new apprentice guy, after they sat through that sci-fi movie....a few moments from this show had me laughing out loud. It looks like Lisa and Nate's relationship might be on the right path, as much as I wish it would take a dump.

The death of the woman at the beginning was apparently from a 'bloody nose," as Nate said. Then, there was the hankie fascination from Ruth. 2. The porn movie that was on TV after Arthur turned off the movie, and then the porn movie that was on when David turned on the TV when he was in bed with Keith. 3. David's insisting that Russell is gay, and then David and Keith's conversation about how they both had sex with women in the past to deny their homosexuality. Z-

What a bummer that camping trip turned into for Nate! I was hoping wifey was going to flip out over something trivial and swan dive off the big rock, but no luck. It is certainly in the open that their marriage is in trouble. Ruth's new little firend is certainly a spooky guy. I'm less sure they will hook up, he will spook her. The scene with the big guy falling on the floor, too funny! I was discouraged that Kathy Bates character wasn't there (she directed the epi) as she makes Ruth more interesting. Ruth is one of the saddest characters on TV. Claire continues her search for losers, reeling in another. I expect her to blow off Art School and that useless teacher soon. She seems to be wandering in her life, perhaps she was without much parental (or other) direction too early in life.
