In responce to your question, this week's episode brings back the great writing we have seen in the past, with bizarre story twists and creative dialog. Ruth's sister is going through withdrawls as she tries to kick her perscription drug addiction. Her aid is played brilliantly by Kathy Bates.

Claire is in yet another bad relationship, this time with a guy who works at the crematorium. He's young, cute, and has a rock band, which is, apparently, the attraction. Last night, however, he told her that they are NOT in an exclusive relationship and she has to expect him to date and sleep with whomever he wants.

David and (damn, forgot his lover's name) are seeking counseling to help move their relationship forward, but this is another relationship train wreck and they really only have that sexual connection.

Nate and Lisa ... ahhhh nate and Lisa. This is the most interesting relationship with the greatest potential for comic relief, thanks to Chatherine O'hara's character. She is going to bring a lot of color to the couple's life. Lisa is continuing her "I am the only one who knows what's best for my child" syndrom. Remember the peanut butter-diaper sniffing last week? This week Nate washed their cloths in Tide. Lisa detected this with her famous sniff test. Lisa feels that the baby is allergic to Tide, so if she holds the baby while wearing a shirt washed in Tide, it will give the baby a rash. Therefore, she made nate re-wash all of the laundry using Downy.

The Rico incident .. well, Rico has his moral values and these are often in conflict with the art of running a business. This week they gave the impression that Rico is this close > < to going postal. He is definitely working longer hours than the others, and the stress of having David constantly correct him on business practices is making Rico's eye twitch.
