I guess we find out Trinity's story next week (from the previews). Seems like tptb want us to see him and Trinity bond so it will be a big moment when he kills him at the end of the season.

Wouldn't the assistant help the photographer dude smash up the girls for the photos and then bury them if they die? I wouldn't say the photographer is
innocent. He's just as guilty as the assistant.

I thought from the start with the photog that Dexter wasn't following the code of Harry. His killing an innocent person was really shocking to me. And, the
scene with the deer was so strange.

Loved him killing the wrong guy. <3

I found the odd "insert inane comment" voices that popped in from time to time (and from no particular actor) in this episode really annoying.
"Good to see you back Deb" "oh, that's really disgusting" |

Well, to be fair...the hero of this show IS a psychotic person who not only hears his dead father's voice but he sees him, and carries on conversations
with him. I was thinking that last night...it's so fucked up that we like this guy.

You ONLY thought about that last night???

And the fact that the only time we see the real Dex is when he's exchanging pleasantries with someone already on his table.
This show is so warped on so many levels that it sometimes makes my brain hurt. |

I'm hoping Trinity finishes Deb off, wouldn't mind seeing her buried alive, maybe Rita can fit in too looked like it was big enough.
Lithgow is good, I like how he is thinking with the coffin, he makes it from untraceable wood. |

I guessed it was the assistant too, rather than the photographer. I wish it would have been Quinn instead. That guy needs to die.

So does this mean the Trinity killer actually kills in four? Like a fourth unfindable kill in his cycle.

Good point. Excellent craftsmanship turning that little tree into a coffin, btw.
The more I think about it, this does not bode well for "Kyle" -- maybe messing with the ashes made something go click in Trinity's head? |

I feel like the Quinn storyline is a little too much like a Doakes redux. I hope they prove me wrong.

It would be funny if Trinity is really a Quadrangle Killer and Doorknob Deb figures that out instead of Thuper Agent Lundy. |

Can someone remind me? I totally don't remember this whole Quinn stealing. When did that happen?

Quinn definitely feels like a Doakes redux, except that Quinn doesn't seem to be nearly the opponent that Doakes was. Plus, Doakes had some dark secrets of
his own, so his obsession with Dexter (and being able to tell that something isn't right with him) made a lot more sense. Quinn just seems like a
bumblefuck and would be a letdown as an opponent given the likes of Doakes, Lundy, Miguel, Dexter's brother...

Quinn is hot. He must not die.

I miss Doakes. Did anyone ever conclusively figure out what was going on with him and that Tontons Macoute SOB on the bridge?
Losing him kind of gutted the show, but things have recovered. I'm thinking the same thing, but let's face it: if "Trinity" buried a 4th body, there'd be no way for Thuper Duper Agent Lundy who bailed out of having a nice piece of tail half his age at his permanent beck & call to have known this. Poor judgment? |
