I hated Season 4 when it was broadcast -- especially Riley. But the first time I re-watched the series on DVD, I think Seasons 4 and 5 were my favorite. Even
Riley was better upon repeated viewings, and I actually kind of like the guy now!
I think there was a post by someone a few pages back that claimed that Andrew was supposed to be the person who dies at the end of the series, but it was changed to Anya at the last minute because SMG hated Emma and refused to work with her in any movies/sequels. Am I remembering that right. It made some sense to me, because the main thing I remember is how no one seemed to care that Anya died. It was just a collective "Huh", which would make no sense for someone who had been part of the gang for 4 years. But it would have made a lot of sense as a reaction to Andrew dying. |

Finally finished watching all 7 seasons of this. It took a while, but it was worth it. It definitely ranks among my top TV shows along with Alias and Lost.

Yeah Beefcake, that's right. SMG and Emma Caulfield didn't get along-I don't really know why exactly, but Emma blasted SMG on Howard Stern after
she was done with the show. I liked Anya, but I felt her character really wasn't moving anywhere so it was better that she died.

Wow, did not know that. I did know that there was some tension/blow-up at some point between Aly & Sarah right? Like around s5 when they added titles to
her name in the credits or whatever? (which bugged me too).
And I also heard that Sarah was very public about her dislike of her storyline in s6 which I'm glad...but her and Joss' relationship suffered as a result. Is this all heresay?? I also heard that Joss pretty much told Nick Brendan that his character was "over" by s5..what the heck?? So do something about it  And that Amber refused to be in
"Convos W/ Dead People" cause of the way Joss did her in like that and she didn't want to be brought back and hurt Willow/Tara shippers<3
@ Cordy still being marginalized even in reunions

Season 4 of Buffy was not great- Riley and the Initiative sucked a major amount of balls- but it is no match for the awfulness of Season 4 of Angel. I've
never wanted to kill a fictional character as much as I did with Connor.

While I wasn't a big fan of the season 4 storyline, it has some of my favourite episodes: Hush, Something Blue, Who Are You/This Year's Girl etc.

Season four has great stand alone episodes, some of the best. The initative episodes sucked.
And I lothed season four of Angel. I'm shocked it got picked up after that shitfest with cordilia sleeping with conner and the stupid woman who hypnotized the world. |

5 is probably my favourite. Some great stand alones and a great BIG season long arc that would have led to a great finale had they left it at 5. Glory is
easily my favourite of the Big Bads
I remember getting goosebumps at this: Buffy to Quentin "What kid of demon is she?" Quentin "Glory isn't a demon at all." Buffy, slightly nervous "What is she?" Quentin "She's a God." |

So, I just started watching this with my daughter, because her bff loves it and they had the first 2 seasons on sale at Target so I picked them up. Does
Cordelia ever have anything to do other than being bitchy in a couple scenes per episode?
