I skipped school to watch his Morning Show. I never missed one single episode of Late Night. He lost me when he became a bitter old Keith Olbermann, tongue-lathering Gore's butthole. He phones in cheap jokes now. When he was an equal opportunity offender, his ratings were on par or just a bit behind Leno. When he became a liberal shill, Leno doubled his ratings. Dave won 1 night this week (Tuesday) because he had Julia Roberts and Howard Stern on. Not for anything else. He went back to dismal the next night.

You mean, like how the twit got caught lying about the bridge to nowhere? Of course, she knew she was lying, in her quest to become the second most powerful person in the country. Letterman was simply telling a joke on a comedy show. It's not like they need to do voluminous research on every fucking joke. It's amazing that anyone is getting so upset about this. I can't imagine even the Wasilla Hillbillies are that stupid, and are just attention whoring again.

I don't think he had conservatives defending him like the libs are doing for Letterman. Kids are off limits... until now. Also, since the personal problems of politician's children are now fair game, could someone find me a clip of Letterman joking about Biden's daughter who got busted for coke? Or all the jokes Dave did about Gore's drunk driving son. I'm sure they were hilarious.

Agreed. I think NOW's surprise here is that Letterman can now be included in the same group as Limbaugh. but Letternman's smart to not let the issue die. He's probably banking (correctly) that in the end, he'll get somewhere both funny and non-sexist; he's not there yet, though.
