I agree with everyone. Henry has become a huge bland bore. It was cute at first but he's the biggest thrill killer ever. It would be interesting to see the charmingly obnoxious Gio take a stab at Betty but I think that Betty probably went off on her own. (It's a little depressing watching Betty getting more action than I do.)

Naomi was hilarious! They used her perfectly. Lindsay Lohan on the other hand was next to useless.

I like the new French Meade kid. Should be interesting to see how Daniel handles being a father. Loved how they just pulled him out from nowhere like one of those soap opera cliches.

My 13-year-old daughter immediately said "She's going to the Grand Canyon" when we saw the plane apparently heading West. Even she knows that the Henry storyline is a closed door

Ive warmed up to Gio, and wouldn't mind seeing Betty develop a relationship with him, as long as the storyline doesn't overshadow the rest of the show.

Seaguy is right about a lot of loose threads (NinaGarcia would NOT approve!) , which should be addressed at least briefly in the script. The stike meant there was a lot of ground to cover in a very little time, but it would be a gesture of good faith to cover those questions before embarking on sweeping new story arcs. I really am interested in what's happening with Marc's BF, and what Willi's nearly-grown daughter thinks about having a new brother or sister. At least throw us some crumbs, writers.

Yes, he found out about the other guy and he took a paternity test. I think Betty told him, but not sure how he found out there was another guy.

Yeah, Betty found out from the dental assistant that Charlie slept with the orthodontist. She told Henry, but a paternity test found he was the father. Betty pretty much told him it was fine, and they were going to spend time together until he went back home to be a father. That's why, a few weeks ago, they were talking about taking trips to meet one another. They still wanted to be together. I think it was once the baby was actually born that Betty thought they should just break it off cleanly.

Reader's Jeer of the Week: An Ugly Situation

Jeers to Ugly Betty for Henry not returning. I put all that effort into caring about Betty and Henry's relationship and rooting for the nice guy, and [Christopher Gorham] isn't even coming back as a series regular? For a show that is supposedly about heart and the nice guy winning, is this a "jump the shark" moment? Someone needs to figure out a way to bring him back, and pronto. It's just something I know!

I remember Henry telling Betty that he was the father. But I also don't remember if he found out about the affair. I'm thinking he didn't. Sorry, I know that doesn't really answer your question. I must find the storyline boring too.

Fittingly enough, it was at the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants premiere earlier this week that we learned that Mark Indelicato, who plays Justin on Ugly Betty, likes to steal from co-star Becki Newton's closet. He and Becki (who plays Amanda on the show) are the same size, apparently. And they have the same girlish hips! (See picture, left, from the premiere.) They told Jada Yuan all about it.

I had a connecting flight through LAX today and saw none other than... Ana Ortiz, aka HILDA!!! I flipped a shit. First of all, she looked kind of white... when I told my traveling companion that she was on Ugly Betty as America Ferrera's sister, she was like "But isn't America Ferrera Hispanic?" She was looking cute though. Didn't wear sunglasses or designer duds or any of the other celeb dramatics. She was talking to a blonde wearing sunglasses. (Not Becki Newton, sadly, and I stared at her long enough to confirm that.) Her plane was coming in from New York--returning from filming for Betty?

I definitely followed her for at least five minutes, but she seemed busy and I didn't want to bug her. (Fuck being graceful, I totes should have gone for a picture, but I'm happy to have seen her at all.)
