I also felt the premier had too much of a scripted "trying-too-hard" vibe. I enjoy Kathy the most when she is just being Kathy rather than when she is trying to make things happen.

Regarding Bette. As I watched, I thought Bette was playing the straight man to Kathy and that's why Bette was "acting" so embarrassed/shocked/disgusted by Kathy's comments & antics. Like most comedy pairings, one has to play the "straight man" to the other one's zaniness so they can play off of each other.

The funniest things are the unscripted things that just happen.

Kathy hiding behind the plant at H.I.E. was hilarious, although I thought that whole bit was dragged out a little too long.

If Kathy is getting some remodeling done, I hope it turns out to be a massive improvement. So much potential in Kathy's house, but it is so cold and uninviting as it was. I know a few of us around here have been wishing for a Jeff Lewis/Kathy cross-over where Jeff transforms her house. I kept hoping to see Jeff walk in to yell at the contractors, but knowing Kathy, she is way too cheap to pay for someone like Jeff and his contractors and the only way it would happen was if Bravo set it up.

Funniest thing, though, is definitely the recent exchanges in this thread between Carboys/Tiger/Seaguy
