One of the great scenes why Chuck should have been picked up for a FULL season! |

NBC said the show's budget will remain unchanged from last season. I'm hearing different. What's the deal?
How will the cuts affect what we see?
I heard Julia Ling [Anna] might not return. True?
Has she been taken off contract?
Will the show's central trio be in every episodes?
Will Sarah be working at a Subway next season?
Are you concerned at all about the show being off the air for 10 months?
How about a season 3 spoiler in honor of the show's renewal?
Will Chuck and Sarah start the season off as a full-fledged couple?
Really? For who?
Male or female?
I guess.

Look, up in the sky...
Brandon (Superman Returns) Routh was added to the cast. I knew Bryce. Bryce was a friend of mine. Brandon, you're no Bryce. |

I also read that Josh Schwartz is developing a new sitcom for CBS.

If I didn't know better I'd say Chuck's got a thing for Superman.
On the heels of Brandon Routh's casting as a love interest for Sarah comes word that Smallville vet Kristin Kreuk is joining Chuck for multiple episodes as Hannah, a girl Chuck meets on a flight to Paris. "Chuck and Hannah definitely have feelings for each other," teases an insider. Laid off from her glamorous publishing job, Hannah ends up working at the Buy More. (I'm sure that won't prove distracting to the horny nerd herders at all!) This marks Kreuk's first major TV gig since leaving Smallville.

I've been re-watching Season 2, and this show is so under-rated.

NBC's sucking is potentially awesome news for Chuck.
ausiello link Exclusive: NBC may move up 'Chuck' launchIt's good news (for me), bad news (for NBC): Since its numbers are down and its new and returning shows are mainly DOA (Southland was axed before new episodes even aired!), Chuck's third season might get to premiere sooner than the March date that's been bandied about thus far."How much sooner" you ask? As early as late October, my moles tell me. And while it remains unclear whether the little show that could (and has and shall again) would return to its Monday timeslot or find itself a new perch, NBC insiders who've seen the first four episodes are calling this season the best yet. But wait, there's more. If Chuck does come back sooner rather than later, the chances of NBC ordering additional episodes beyond the 13 it initially commissioned increases dramatically. And they increase further if it performs solidly… which for NBC, at this point, means my cat, Mister Scooch, sits down to watch with me. (Seriously, anything above a 2 rating in the 18-49 demo should do the trick.) |

If they bring it back in 2-3 weeks with no promotion, stick it in a random timeslot and then let it break for the Olympics - it WILL be a disaster and the end
of this show.
Better pray that leathery TV Guide queen is wrong. |

For a show that NBC wants to do well, they sure are doing it in a funny way. This is the best hour long show NBC has right now and they are just fucking it up.

Ditto what StarJumper said. I'm thrilled at the prospect of getting Chuck sooner, but I'm sick of NBC jerking this great show around.

I want to know when the plan to have this replace Heroes come January changed. That was a smart and logical decision (a rarity for NBC).
Chuck really has a chance to explode into a "Big Bang Theory"-esque hit for NBC this year. It has a strong following, positive buzz, everything it needs. All NBC needs to do is NOT royally screw up the execution... too much to ask for? |
