First, Captain Awsome's 'Ken and Barbie' parents, now Sarah's dad, and of course, soon Chuck's dad will appear out of nowhere for Chuck's sister's wedding. Then, what? Casey's dad? Mom? Aunt? Long lost twin sister separated at birth? Well, I'd like to see the last one actually. Ha. |

Because Lumberg was available for half as much. |

No responses at all tonight? If Carl Winslow doesn't excite you people, nothing will.

Haven't finished watching it all yet (only 40 mins in) and have pretty much enjoyed it thus far.... but here are a couple of quick caps.... Ana in the elf costume was awesome though the producers suck with the all too quick shots they give of Ana (otherwise, yay for the producers of this show). Ana winning the pool was great. Pay up, suckers! Emmett getting outside and no longer a hostage, explaining why its scary! We've slashed our prices! You bet its scary! ..... With Big Mike in the store saying "God Bless that man". And the Reginald VelJohnson (Carl Winslow) Big Al character with his twinkies role from Die Hard? While at the same time Big Mike is chowing down on one? ABSOLUTELY GREAT STUFF! That is exactly why this show appeals to me as much as it does. All the small but classic tv show/movie references. I can't believe we have to wait until Feburary to see new shows though.... Errrr. |

Carl Winslow! That was genius casting right there.
Okay, please help a slow person: why was Chuck so rattled by the fact that Sarah shot the bad guy? Did he not hear what the bad guy said to her? February -that blows. |

By the way, Chuck's ratings tied with Heroes this week. Good news for Chuck (which means ratings improvement). Bad news for Heroes. I'm sure Chuck is
half as expensive to film.

Loved the episode this week. The best part was Carl Winslow and the boss man hugging.
I don't know why Chuck was so upset about Sarah, I'm sure he's seen her shoot people, perhaps it's because the guy was obviously surrendering and he didn't hear the conversation. Poor Morgan |

Oh yeah, I forgot about poor Morgan. Bummer he didn't stick around to hear Anna say "yuck!" Speaking of Anna, I was hoping she'd help kick
the bad guys' asses.

I was disappointed that the producers took the only hearing part of the conversation crap. So now Chuck think that Sarah is just a common killer. It
would've been more profound if he had witnessed the entire conversation.
The fact that Sarah will kill someone to protect him and how it would affect Chuck from an aspect that is life is more valuable than anyone else, even his freinds and family, and the aspect of his relationship with Sarah, is a better plot than the she's just a bad person plot. |

Re the spoiler, Bored, if that's true, THAT SUCKS!!! Unless it's only temporary . . . VERY temporary. Loved the Christmas ep, but for me Chuck never disappoints. I love this show, it's just fun light entertainment with every episode and I do love all the references to past shows, music and other pop culture they throw in. |

Not allowing Chuck to overhear the conversation was so contrived. I guess they wanted to create the all important "angst" in the relationship.

I wonder if Chuch had heard the convo if his reaction would be any different.
I thought the whole ep seemed a little off form last night. Capt. Awesome in the debate on whether to be a hero? Morgan being equally as much of a hero as Lester in full view of Anna, but somehow this escapes her? And of course, the conversation. Still, Sarah should've just told him what happened. But if it opens to the door to that spoiler, fine by me. I lurves me some (actress named in there and who has been named already in here, although without context). Meanwhile, I thought I was going crazy hearing strains of Beethoven's 9th interstitched into the soundtrack and then they go full into later on (the reunion of Big Mike and his cousin the cop?) I remember the Die Hard series used big classical pieces -- I distinctly remember Finandia from Die Hard 2. Had the original Die Hard relied on the Ninth, i.e., was this an inside joke? If so, I don't understand the emphasis. I wouldn't have recogized the cop actor anyway. Has he been in something more recent that's making you all go so wiggy? |
