NEW CAMPAIGN
Operation Phoenix Jericho Rises from the Ashes Campaign Outline I was speaking with Shaun on his show tonight. Producers were in talks with Comcast and had negotiated price per episode down top $1.4 million per episode but Comcast wanted to trim it lower and the Producers said no. They are working on getting CW to get a Board up in time for the first show November 30, 2008-Pilot. It is Shaun's understanding that they are running all 29 episodes in a row. We have one more chance at this so lets give it our all. Part 1 we need to continue to write to Bonnie Hammer, during the UHD tv ad run. And we need to keep a presence here on the UHD Board. Ms. Bonnie Hammer President USA and Sci Fi Networks NBC Universal Inc., 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, New York 10112 bonnie.hammer@nbcuni.com Part 2: We need to mobilize every Ranger we can find and start to get the word out that Jericho is on CW at 7:00pm Eastern. We will be dealing with Football through January so we need to really get the word out. Part 3: Letters to Dawn at CW thanking her for putting Jericho back on the air. Ms. Dawn Ostroff The CW Television Network 4000 Warner Blvd. Burbank, CA 91522 Part 4: Watching Jericho each week live so we can get Nielsen numbers. We need to focus in on getting people in front of their sets each Sunday at 7:00pm. Part 5: After watching each episode we need to send CW Feedback like never before. Also we light up the CW Board when it is in place. CW Feedback Form feedback form |

I AM kind of mad about this ...i would think the producers would want to give the fans the show back |

Going lower than 1.4mil per ep would compromise production quality even more seriously than they were already forced to. On the other hand, I can see Comcast
is figuring it would be a stretch to think they could make over 1.41 mil in advertising or rights or whatever for each episode shown.
Still...this CW news is very promising!!! |

Even if it was picked up again, hasn't the cast moved on now? You'd think it'd be pretty hard to get most of the characters back.

The producers have received commitments from the cast to return if they get back on the air somehow.
Well endurance...if those were my choices I would take...........the 1.4 mil. |

I wouldn't mind the smaller budget. If we could overlook that ridiculous model train in the second season premiere, we could deal with pretty much
anything.

For anybody that didn't get a chance to see it the first time around or just want to relive the Jericho experience, CW will be airing Jericho tonight
starting with the pilot at 7 p.m. Be there for it.

SO THE UNIVERSAL HD AD STARTS AIRING TODAY
DID ANYONE WATCH JERICHO LAST NIGHT? HERE ARE THE RATINGS and lowly the CW, which took back the evening from Media Rights Capital with its combination of a repeat of Jericho (#5: 1.0 rating/2 share at 7 p.m.) and Sunday Movie, Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course (#5: 0.9/ 1 from 8-10 p.m.). While the CW may not sound like much, it did build from the week-ago encore combination of In Harm's Way, Valentine and Easy Money by 80 percent. |

"Unsurprisingly, a rerun of Jericho and a movie on the CW did much better than the cancelled MRC Sunday night programming block
and the Nielsen ratings were pretty much where you'd figure them to be. Jericho averaged 1.25 million viewers and an 0.4/1 among 18-49 year olds.
That's going to have anyone (at least anyone in their right mind) thinking, "this is a series that needs to be brought back!", but it was 530,000
more viewers than a repeat of In Harms Way netted last week, and the Jericho rerun did slightly better among adults 18-49 (0.4/1 vs
0.3/1). A repeat of the movie The Crocodile Hunter performed almost identically to the Jericho numbers between 8p-10p."

i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw Jericho on the screen guide.....i really wanted Easy Money to be a good show....it was crap from the get-go and only
got worse.
i had hoped laurie metcalf would have a 'break out' series to call her 'own'....i thought for sure she and her KATHY GRIFFIN hair would have wowed.....but alas, no. |

Goddamn! I finally got around to watching season 2 and wow. Awesomeness.
They need to do a miniseries or movie or SOMETHING. There were moments in epsiodes 4 and 5 that felt more like 24 than 24 has been since season 1. Serious tension and OMG!!!! moments. I miss it |

SurvivorArctic wrote: You finally got around to watching Season 2??? Finally? Really? And you feel the need to share that with us now? STFU. Where were you when we needed you? You are going to miss this show now? How fucking quaint. I guess I could explain how television works, ratings and all, but somehow I don't think you would get it for a year or two. The next time you feel the need to make a post like this? Don't. |
