Damn. I fear it will be a long time before I am entertained so well, so thoroughly, so simply.

I hated the ending. Way too rushed. I feel cheated.
The DVDs better have some sort of extended director's cut shit on it, or I'll be super PISSED! GAH! |

I just finished watching the finale and was pleasantly surprised -- that long tracking shot at the end was full of references to previous eps. Nice touch, I
thought, but sad that we never got to see the Piemaker smooch his squeeze.
A quirky fun show that, agreeance, lost its way somewhat in season 2. Sad to see it go. Weird phrasing by the narrator at the very end -- "but not an ending, for as we know, an ending is where we begin." WTF did he mean? |

^ He was just being all poetric. Unless they're still thinking of doing those comic books? Nahhh. He was just being poetic and philosophical and shit.

They are still doing a comic book, it comes out in the fall, but he was referring to the fact that their stories start with death (end) but for a show like
this, death really isn't the end

Oh, well, that's insightful.

Wait...the point was that death isn't the end?

Tigernanama wrote: I just took it as (mostly because it was Digby shown running when it was said and Digby's death is what started how Ned's life turned out) is that for as they (and we) know an ending (Digby's death in the first episode and where Ned first demonstrated his "talent) is where we begin (how everything that happened since touching Digby) In other words, for Ned and his life, death was not an ending but rather the beginning of everything (touching Digby started the beginning for how the show played out) When we die, that is the "end" but for Ned it was the beginning. |

Please go look up the definition of "sarcasm" right now. Go on, I'll wait.

I'm curious what the original ending was to this final episode, anybody know?
It did feel rushed but I thought it was going to be and I thought it would have something to do with Chuck and Ned touching. Oh well. Can't wait to get this season on dvd. |

I thought the original ending to the episode was just Ned and Chuck at the aunts' front door saying she's alive?

Never watched a single second but congrats to Kristin. A win for one cancelled show is a win for all.

CONGRATS KRISTIN! TAKE THAT ABC. I was just watching "Bad Habits" (Kristin's Emmy-nominated performance) right before the Emmys for good vibes
and she WON so yay for Kristin!
