I actually watched the entire show today and yes I cried when Shawn was saying goodbye. I really thought everyone did great except that I wanted to tell them
all to stop telling each they loved each other ad naseum as they wasted what was left of their Oxygen. Best line of the day again belonged to John. Marlena
tells John "I love you" as he is about to attempt to land the plane and John responds "Good too know"

^ It was nice they added a bit of comedy.
Wait until Monday's eppy between Claire & John. They had such cute lines together. And Claire even said "That's a fact." |

I read every message in this thread, but I rarely post. Had to come straight in here and say... Wow!
I've been watching DOOL since I was a small child who shouldn't see such things back in the 60's. This was the best episode in a VERY long time. I was on the edge of my seat even though I knew all will be fine (It *is* Salem after all). I bawled my eyes out during Shawn Sr's goodbye and even harder when Bo woke up to find out. I may have even peed myself a little from laughing when John said "Good to know." to Marlena. Bravo! |

days is better now than it has been in forever. and who knew John would be the one to turn it around! even Philip is funny Monday. I do need to add I like
mercenary Marlena right now. I love her cold-hearted. perfect match for John. what she did to stephano is truly chilling.

I only get to see about 20 minutes a day - during my lunch hour. I don't have dvr, so I keep up through the spoilers. I've missed the
heart-wrenching parts so far - colleen & shawn - but I can only imagine Caroline and what it will be like when the "lost" folks get back to
salem.
but we can't give the writers too much credit, as marquerita mentioned, where the fuck are the pilots? no one worried about their oxygen. |

Also, almost everyone shared their oxygen masks except for John & Marlena.

It was an amazing episode and it had all the excitement of a mini-movie.
I just have one question: How where they about to survive (what seemed like an eternity) when their oxygen ran out before John lowered the plane? |

well, some of them have been dead before... so I'm sure it'll all work out. lol
I thought today's eppy was good, but I just keep wanting that plane to crash already!! I wonder whether they're way off course... and will find themselves on an island with Jack, Kate and the Others. wait, wrong network. |

^Oh my God, how awesome would that be? I know you were just kidding but still that would be so much fun to watch. I'd love to see a conversation between
nu-John and Locke. I think they'd get along just fine.
Alright back to reality. Well, Days reality anyways. I also was hoping to see the crash but you know they clever writers wanted to leave us with a cliff hanger. Did you notice that the previews for Monday only included stuff happening in Salem. I'm sure they think that will add to the cliff hanger tension as if we all are thinking they will all die in the plane crash or something. I'm glad I've started DVR'ing again. All we need now is to get Sami down to the station for a good old fashioned freakout. She is so good at that. |

Did you notice that the previews for Monday only included stuff happening in Salem. I'm sure they think that will add to the cliff hanger tensionThis is a step up for Days. Normally they end Friday with a cliffhanger and then when they show Monday's preview, they spill the outcome of the cliffhanger!!! The only episode I was able to watch this week was Friday's, and I have to say it was very very good. There was just a moment at the end of a shot of all the plane's passengers when the production reminded me a lot of Y&R. It just felt like Y&R. I'm really enjoying the nu John, though I liked the old one. It's a great character, and I hope he stays this way for the foreseeable future. And I like Marlena also. Maybe because I saw only Friday's eppy -- where was the oxygen mask shortage? Hope, Bo, and Shawn, Sr. all had one, so why did Grandpa Shawn have to give his up????? Grandpa Shawn's gonna be pissed when he gets to the pearly gates and is met by his mother and father, but not Colleen...cause we know she's Days dead. Oh....and did anyone but me have this thought when John and Steve were piloting the plane -- where's Jett and Jeremy when you need them |

-- where was the oxygen mask shortage? Hope, Bo, and Shawn, Sr. all had one, so why did Grandpa Shawn have to give his up?????The answer is: for some unknown reason (sabotage?) some of the masks didn't work, so they had to share. |

This is a step up for Days. Normally they end Friday with a cliffhanger and then when they show Monday's preview, they spill the outcome of the cliffhanger!!! Days was horrible with there previews. Ed Scott changed that as soon as he came on board. He also got rid of the stupid special effects in the endings and
previews.

This is a step up for Days. Normally they end Friday with a cliffhanger and then when they show Monday's preview, they spill the outcome of the cliffhanger!!! We can thank Ed Scott for that. Wyman would spoil everything in the previews. I also love how Scott has ended episodes with a pitch black or a freeze frame ending. With Wyman we'd get a freeze frame of a character then have flames shooting up. It was so stupid. Hopefully, DAYS submits Friday's episode for next years emmy for directing. |
