The casting dept. needs to be fired. Let's face it, they suck!
Out of all these roles cast or recast in the last year, they've had more busts than winners. Now I admit that EJ and Nick and nuoldPhillip work well but I only count Nick as a new find who worked out because EJ and Phillip had prior soap experience to go from when hiring them. The rest of their casting has just sucked so bad and really irritates the audience when they are subjected to them. Willow, Jed, Stephame, Jeremy YUCK YUCK YUCK YUCK!!! |

It's almost the time of year when kids are out of school and Days hires a bunch of them to direct and write scripts. At least it appears the show has done this the past few summers. I can only hope that with the return of the DiMeras, Days hires college sophomores at a minimum. |

I prefer Michael T. Weiss, too. But he was not the original at all.

I don't know about the other Mike's either. Just he wasn't the first. I didn't start watching until 1984, the day Bo stoled Hope away from the church.

I loved the dynamics between EJ and Tony. I think this storyline will save the show over the summer if they do a good job with it. I am hoping it overshadows the crappy sub-story of the teens. |

How old is Mike supposed to be? Cuz the only Mike I know was the young one mid 90's Roarke? And wasn't he Carrie's contemporary? Did he get de-aged and then re-aged to have a twenty-somethng son?

Mike's son really would be like 20. He was born circa 1987.
Carrie and Mike in the late 60s was born in like 1976. They did deage him a little when Roark took over the role but the character has been gone a long time now so I don't think Jeremy coming on the scene plays with the role. Will is nearly grown up and Sami is his mother so a grown up child doesn't mean much on soaps as far as aging the parent. |

Nick is growing on me. I'm not a Nick/Chelsea fan, but I'm starting to really like the Nick character. I love all the ways Days gets around admitting that there is no longer a Mickey Horton. Today, it's sleeping pills. I can hardly wait to see what's next. Maybe a visit to Bonnie?? |

Since I whine all the time about this show...... I have to say, I am only FF through tivo for 35 minutes vs. my usual 50.
Yes that is saying alot.... more Dimera means less FF through Tivo Peace |
