Days is the only soap i watch - are other soaps as 'incesty' as this one? i'm curious if this is the norm. |

Days is by far the most incesty soap on TV. I'm not sure any other soap has had an uncle sleep with two nieces. Not sure if any other soap considers an
adopted family member to not be a real family member.

Not sure if any other soap considers an adopted family member to not be a real family member.SudsAddict, that is what offends me-- that they're treating adoption as "less than". I'm not adopted, but I have plenty of friends who have adopted. Believe me, none of them would want their kids to date their cousins--biological ties or not. My aunt's(mom's sister) son married my uncle's(mom's brother) stepdaughter. our entire family was scandalized when they began to date in high school. And my uncle had never even adopted her! |

What kills me is no one in the family even raises an eyebrow. I think once Kayla mentioned something, but not in the context that she was bothered by it.
Shawn and Caroline might have been more closely related than just husband and wife.

I finally thought EJ was getting his balls back when he told Nicole to get out. After he ripped up the formula and gave into her I realized that he has no
balls.
Yay for Sami's return and already making waves for Chloe and Nicole. I can't stand Nicole anymore. She used to be fun and now she's just a clingy, pathetic shell of what she used to be. She needs to lose the kid and EJ and start drinking again. |

been a tough week - i caught all 5 episodes last night. i have to say i really enjoyed this week. EJ "starting" to get mean, Sami's return,
Wicked Kate, good amount of Victor, the arrival of NuWill. All in all, a good week. We'll see if it lasts.

Days has me talking to my tv a lot recently...
today it went like this: BO: how dare you ME: have sex with my Brother! Bo: have sex in my house. I honestly kept waiting for him to be upset that it was HIS BROTHER, and instead it was just "you're my baby girl, and I don't want to know that you're sexually active." egad. did anyone notice that the writers go out of their way to NOT mention Max and Bo's long standing Brotherly Relationship? this show sux. why do I keep watching? |

^^^tigeranne, it's easy to quit. I did. I follow via the TV Guide writeups. Y&R and even AMC are soooooo much more tolerable than Days. I'm still
pissed at the lousy send off they gave DH and DH, plus From what I've read, no send off for Patch and Kayla, just a "that was your last day of
filming." As they say, vote with your remote. Mine does not go to NBC for Days anymore.
