That's exactly what I said. Obviously, a 14 and 17 year old should be expected to pitch in a bit with some household chores, but they sure as shit shouldn't be doing all of it, along with being parents to their younger siblings and homeschooling themselves. And the mother coming home after being gone all damn day, and then saying "I quit! I just give up!" and throwing the screaming kid in with the other ones. Ugh. Bitch, in order to give up you would actually have to be doing something to give up.
Re emancipation: It's something those girls really should look into. I had a friend in college who got emancipated when she was 15, and she said it was the best thing she ever did. Hell, working a full time job would probably be less work than what those poor girls are doing now. The fact that they were the ones who called Supernanny speaks volumes.
