I can totally see them writing it like this: 1. Ari doesn't take the job since he loves Vince so much and he'll cry everytime he sees Vince on his screensaver 2. Ari takes the job and realizes later on he doesn't like it and returns to being an agent.

However, if the writers want to surprise us a bit, I'd love to see Ari take and keep the job permanently. But I just don't see that happening, that'll require Vince to get another agent, which means a new character (or perhaps old, if they return to Amanda...which I doubt will happen). Having a new character poses a risk of the newbie being unlikeable and discouraging fans. I remember a lot of people hated Dom when he was around because he just messed with the chemistry and flow of the group, even though the writers loved him, hence, the redemption episode.

Vince is my least favorite as well, not because he's spoiled, but he really doesn't have a whole lot of depth. What does he do besides hooking up with girls, shopping, partying, and being really stubborn about what fail projects he wants to do? But really, I've always felt the story was more about his "entourage" than Vince himself.
