You thought that was bad? Then this happened . . . .

Articulate, calm, rational Elizabeth in all her glory. Be sure to watch he mature reaction at the end. She CLEARLY is the bigger person in this situation. |

That "infamous" one second shot of Joy Behar at 0:25 during the Sherri introduction has her in a completely different outfit and hairstyle.

Barbara drives me nuts too, but I LOVED the couple of times she's put the smackdown on Liz!

Rosie? Also I can see why Rosie got upset over the way the media twisted the interactions between the two of them but getting mad at Elisabeth was passive
aggressive and actually only serves to support the negative caricature of herself that is in the media which is what she is supposedly upset about in the first
place. She puts herself into these situations and then gets mad when other people aren't jumping at the chance to bail her out, even to their own
detriment. Also I laughed when the coward discussion was going on because Rosie then proceeded not to show up for the rest of the three weeks she was supposed
to be on, proving herself to be a coward.

I agree that Rosie should stand up for herself, but I think she believed that since Elisabeth was there and they are friends, Elisabeth should've said
something. I think Rosie felt that since Elisabeth said nothing, she must then believe what was being said about Rosie was true.

I hate to go back but Rosie didn't expect Liz to defend her statements and clarify what Rosie, she just wanted Liz to at least say, "I know Rosie and
I know she's not a terrorist supporter and supports the troops." Liz pretty much just stayed silent when asked that question. You can disagree with a
person's political stance or rhetoric but it's disloyal to let someone assume that a difference in opinion equals Rosie is in cahoots with Osama.

1000Proof wrote: Yeah, that's pretty much what I meant. Defend probably wasn't the best word. Rosie just expected Lis to stick up for her. And don't feel bad
about going back to talking about Rosie's time. It's not like anything on the show now is exciting.

ROTFL @ the clip of Joy saying 'FUCK!' during Stupid bitch's intro. Was there any explanation of that?
and I side with elisabeth in the fat bitch/elisabeth argument because Rosie is an adult and shouldn't have to look to someone twice her age for 'defense' against the media/pundits/society that she has been facing her entire life. |

Are you kidding? That was obviously edited in by someone else later. Watch it again. Pay attention to her clothing. |

I don't think it was wrong of Rosie to expect a "friend" to stand by her... by not saying anything Elizabeth was pretty much agreeing with
them... and thats fine if that was how Elizabeth felt, but stand up and say it then...

staff. And the way the poster said, "infamous shot", I thought that it was a big drama thing and I missed it.

sleep in it (even tho Rosie would want that).

platinumtlc wrote: You're missing the point. Rosie didn't need Liz to "defend" her comments, she wanted her to defend her as a person. Try this example: Interviewer: "Rosie says a lot of controveersial things. Do you think Rosie is a bitch Liz?" Liz: (does not answer) By NOT answering, she pretty much is saying A LOT without saying ANYTHING. Defend someone's character if you KNOW them, you don't have to defend their words or behavior. Liz knew Rosie and knows Rosie's heart and love for the troops. To not make a reply to that would hurt if I were Rosie. I'm sure if the roles were reverse, Rosie would say she does not agree with Liz 100% but she at least knows Liz LOVES her country, supports the troops, and generally does believe what she does because SHE feels that it's right based on her beliefs. |
