I don't really like her or not like her, but I still think she's full of shit about her clothing. That fact that it's being written about in magazines and time *wasted* on the show to talk about it is proof that it's something people notice. She should be embarrassed that it keeps getting called to her attention. How hard is it to put something decent on? The other 4 ladies somehow manage to do it. It's a shame she doesn't respect them enough to do the same, and it's pathetic to use the "I am being me" excuse. If that were true she'd go naked. It's a load of bullshit and very egotistical for her to believe she's above common decency.

^Have you ever watched the show What Not to Wear? Do you want to know who nominates badly dressed women for the show? Well, in most cases it's a group
effort to get the person nominated and in that group is the person's supervisors and employers.
When Bitsy was given the task of dressing up Whoopi, methinks it was because the producers were complaining about Whoopi's outfits. But in order to make it look like it was all in good fun, they had Bitsy go shopping for whoopi and picking out nice outfits that Whoopi might like. Now if that's not a big enough hint that she needs to dress better than I don't know what does. Maybe Babwa and Bill Geddy could nominate her for What Not To Wear. |

Whoopi has never been a good dresser, she has always wear what she wants to wear and I doubt it will change in the future. So I don't know why people have
just noticed this now, I saw her dress at the oscars and I thought "That's so whoopi of her to wear that" "lbf.

She goes go overly casual at times. Her wearing jeans and a shirt is fine. Her wearing mismatched exercise clothes is absurd.

She doesn't even need to do that. Hell, Ellen is always comfortable and casual without being sloppy. She could wear Jeans and an Old Navy T (with a bra)
and be fine.

Rosie was also extremely casual during her days on The View. But she had people to dress her and she managed to always look presentable. No one ever
criticized her clothes because it was overshadowed by her viewpoints and the things she actually said on the View.
Whoopi's over the top reaction to the TV Guide magazine article exposed her insecurity. It must have touched a nerve or she would not have started shouting about it. |

The show does drive me crazy and there are days when I want to scream at each of the women, but it is the only one on television with a panel of women with
diverse viewpoints who talk about (somewhat) relevant topics. I like the hot topics segment and usually FF through the rest unless it is someone I
particularly like.
What is BW's deep attachment with Monica Lewinski? EVERY time someone mentions her, she has to stop the conversation and defend her and go on and on about her wonderful education and how she has had a difficult time getting on with her life blah, blah, blah. Is she a family friend or something? Or does Barbara relate on some other slutty level????? It just drives me crazy. She used to do it with Paris Hilton too until she got into the dust up with Hilton's family. |
