I certainly agree with that, just as...
Joy would look ridiculous in Elizabeth's clothes. Elizabeth would look ridiculous in Babs' clothes. Babs would look ridiculous in Sherry's clothes. Etc. No one is asking Whoopi to wear what the others wear but would it kill her to wear a proper pair of shoes and pants? Today she didn't look half bad, until it came to the shoes and the jeans. The collared shirt and vest were alright and they definitely qualify as her trademark. But from the waste down she looked like a bum. Combine that with her lack of feminine qualities from the neck up and with her bulky body type and it all adds up to a total disaster. Ellen Degeneres, for example, can wear casual clothes & tennis shoes and somehow manage to look cute. Why can't Whoopi? I guess it's just not possible. |

I like whoopie, I really do, and the very fact that her wardrobe would be a focus on this thread is off putting in the very least. She's not the problem
and never has been since she joined "The View". The downfall of this show has been the decade long refusal of babwah walters to let go of her
obssevive, hands on involvement of every single episode, even when she's not there. This has been Babara's Walters view since day one.
This show was a good idea about fifteen years ago, but she and her long time friend and producer, Bill Geddes (a self avowed rightwing devotee) blew it. Babwah should have stepped aside years ago and allowed it to organically evolve into a daily program, consisting of a panel of diverse women coming together to have an unfiltered conversations about current events every morning. I always thought that they should rotate the hosts every few months and even let the viewing audience decide on who should come back. Babwah has become a tired parody of herself with all the exaggerated hand gestures and loooong stories about deposed dictators she interviewed 40 years ago. And as much as I love Joy's liberal views, her particular brand of humor reminds me of a vaaahruummp, vaudvillian style of humor that reminded me of Henny Youngman's "take my wife please" kind of stichk. This show really needs to be updated with new women on the panel that could provide an influx of current, fresh points of view every morning. |

Please don't get me wrong. I love Whoopi! But to see her getting paid big bucks to host a show that you or anyone of else could pisses me off! That also
goes for the other 3 ladies on board. But I would also make an attempt to look professional and that for that I give Whoopi an F!
(I'm sure that in Whoopi's contract it stated that she could wear almost anything that she wanted to. The show is lucky to have her.) I think it's the other way. She should be lucky to have us who love her and laugh with her. In almost a nasty way, I did laugh at Joy's review today. I can't remember the last time when I had such a good laugh! |

My only wish is that they put Dr. Phil and RuPaul together during the interview! I'm sure they won't but I wish they would! I don't really want to
hear about celebrity problems but the issues that we have today as a society with each other! Time to get off the stars and get with the real issues of today!
I'm kind of upset with Whoopi going to the award show the other day. Todays issues are much more serious than we all could have expected .What else can I
say? Communicate is the number 1, Resolving the enivornmental issues is 2nd. The rest is up to the world.

Whoopi's clothes are hideous. I get that she wants to look butch, but she could still be more chic and wear clothes that fit. Her clothes are leftovers
from the 80's, she needs to burn those stupid vests.
