Does anyone know if Prep H really works on eye bags cuz I have been a freaking weeper since last night. Sheri had me boo hooing all over again. I really hate to say anything nice about that vapid twit Lizzie, but I have to give her props for taking the high road today on the show. I have no doubt that she will leap on the first misstep that Obama makes and will soon enough be quoting the party line like the little blonde puppet she is, but for today, I respected her appreciation of the historical nature of the election.

But I've also taken a back seat and have hoped every day to tell a little girl that "Yes, One day you to can become a President of the United States!" All these years of working and making way less because these men are supposedly the breadwinners of the family. Someday I hope that a woman can take the driver's seat and not have to ride shotgun. Don't get me wrong. I fully support the way the vote turned out but to watch a show called "The View" which is an all women show? Where is the support ladies? Should we just rename this the Man Show? Thoughts please.

Two of the girls are teens still at home. My daughters all feel as if they could indeed become president. There has never been a question of it. With two women coming so close to the top two seats, it has only enforced what they already felt. My son however, called me last night crying. He said he now feels as if anything is possible for both him and any future children or niece/nephew of his. He explained that he had always believed me in his heart that he could do whatever he set his mind to, but it really hit him that everyone believes it is possible and not just his mom having his back. I'll mention here that my children are bi-racial and feel truly at "home" in our country now. I don't know if I've explained this right, but this has been quite an experience for me and my family. I loved what Whoopi said about setting her bags down. It made a lot of sense to me and I think it did to a lot of people.

My 10 year old twin nephews are bi-racial. They also have a slight touch of autism. After the election results came in my brother & his wife were shouting for joy & explained to the boys what had just happened. They still couldn't see the significance. My brother then said that our new president was black & white, just like them. They innocently replied, "but Dad, we're just regular". Now THAT is amazing. Children that see no color. This is our future. I'm so excited & proud.

Exactly - ask the members of the black church in Boston that was burned down election night if they feel race was an issue in why they can no longer go pray at their house of worship?
