COULD NOT AGREE MORE....... even when Barbara called her on it, she tried to deny it..... And barbara is a disgrace, I con not stand her, and find it quite juvinile to brag about an affair she had with a married man in the past, tacky tacky tacky. She wasn't bragging... she wrote her book and it was part of life so she included it, I read the book and it was a small blurb, the press made far more out of it than it was

If she insists on giving her own opinions, they will react with indignation and outrage. Oh look. Someone who actually pays attention. btw seaguy, I've been watching this show since day one. I wasn't talking about Elisabeth getting flustered or being sarcastic (which all of the women on this show do). I was responding to the claims that she never does any research on what she's arguing about. I stand by my opinion that said accusation is bullshit. What whiny victim Rosie fails to realize is that she created this monster (not Elisabeth, The "Current" View) with her inability to discuss politics without resorting to uncomfortable confrontation. Every time Rosie appeared before she joined the show (and after her own show ended), she brought this drama and schoolyard shouting match nonsense. I'm not defending the moments when Elisabeth is less than professional, but I can certainly understand her frustration.

And to those who keep defending Elizabeth as someone who is expected to have the same views as the others, that is bullshit. What Barbra does want is some objectivity, and Elizabeth shows she has none. As Barbra points out, Elizabeth will never admit she could be wrong or that another 'view' is possible. When Barbra confronted Liz on this subject, the example that Elizabeth used to support her objectivity was to state that she liked Obama's speech during the 2004 presidential nominations. In the last 4 years that is the only comment you have made, that wasn't in line with the Republican doctrine? At least the others on the panel can see positive aspects of the people or parties that are in opposition to their beliefs. Elizabeth shows the same mentality that millions show in an unwavering belief that what they are told is the ONLY truth. She has to stop sipping from that kool-aid cup and start looking at all possibilities. When asked to defend Sarah Palin as President, because she obviously must know alot about her to be so feverent in her support for her. But when asked WHY should she be president, Elizabeth had NO answer other than to attack Obama. It isn't coming over to any other person's view, it is about understanding where your own convictions come from and not just 'because'. Elizabeth should not be talking about politics. There are far more intelligent women who could argue points supporting the right and be objective enough to accept that there is no single person or party that has every answer. If they only realized if they actually let her complete a thought/sentence that she only show herself to be a complete moron, not that she hasn't already. If ABC decides to get rid of Liz, I have a parrot they can have......
