^^^Well when the experience is really a history of voting along party lines that has lead us into the biggest financial meltdown since the Great Depression
I'd say it's experience we shouldn't put too much stock in or reward. Experience as a failure is still failure.

Thanks, addicted2survivor. I love how some, like Elizabeth, bring up all the supposed shady relations that Obama may have but never acknowledge McCain's
well documented and legislatively chastised cozy relationship with the most recent financial WTF bailout of the Savings & Loans disaster of the late
80's. The country is experiencing a replay of almost the same lack of oversight in the financial markets now on a much more epic scale. Yet no one wants
to discuss that particular elephant in the room. We can discuss McCain's military service, but the Keating 5 scandal is irrelevant because it happened so
long ago?

Yeah, it doesn't matter that McCain was cleared in the Keating 5 scandal. That doesn't have to be mentioned.

^^^Yeah, it doesn't matter Obama isn't a Muslim, was actually born in the U.S., etc. If you're going to bring up gossip and innuendo about Obama
then the Keating 5 is fair game. McCain's poor judgment in that scandal directly correlates to his campaigns ties to the titans of industry he is now mock
vilifying for our economic meltdown. Again, conflict of interest rears its ugly head. This country has had enough of poor judgment the last eight years.
Time for real change. Obama/Biden 2008!

I hate debating politics, because I won't change my views and either will people on the other side. However, both candidates always make promises that
never happen. It's just become part of the process. If Obama is elected, I don't see what "change" he's bringing, but I don't see the
"change" McCain is promoting either. I'll be voting in November, but I don't expect anything to change.

I have a funny feeling that since people are bringing up history repeating itself that that is exactly what's going to happen with whomever is elected into office. Whether it's McCain or Obama, one of them is going to do something that will reflect their past actions. But I do fear for McCain being in office, because he'll be going down in impeachment flames for taking bribes or whatever else he does. At least with Obama, he's fairly new so he has done very little in the way of major mistakes to warrant impeachment. |

With our economic situation now I just hope that the person who gets elected knows what they're doing

God! This show has become such an He said, He said situation that it has my head turning. I do not like Elizabeth. But I also do not like how Whoopi and Joy
gang up on her. The show is called The View. I may be wrong everybody, but since this is a woman's show, Where was the support or where is there the
support for a woman trying to make a stand in todays world? Everybody on this show disses Hillary and Sarah. They are both women!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the last
twenty-five years I have struggled as a woman to make a change in the work force. I just watched a commercial during the View about a woman who was making less
than the men were making and I'm supposed to sway my vote for Obama to make a change? Unless, You women quit your bitching and crying, men will continue to
rule the world. In other countries, There are women leaders. Barbara, Give me a call. I want to be on The View. Last note here. Sherri said that the world was
flat. Now all of a sudden she comes up with political views? Something here stinks. Barbara is nowhere in sight. The View my ass.

I think they are all dumbfucks who have as much political savvy as I do (which is close to nil). BW has the only experience to qualify any political stance as
being legitimate. The others are just regular assholes with an opinion. Anything they say is just as brilliant or insightful as the crazy cat lady up the
street.
Tuesday's Bill Maher should be fun. Can't wait for Wednesday's Peter Krause. A big wtf for Miss Piggy. |
