Bitch is a complete waste of space. For god's sake, she can't even speak intelligently - or accurately - about her own Party's issues which she
claims to hold dear.

Such an unprofessional asshole. No surprise.

I've been a lurker here for a long time..... Anyhow, Elisabeth is the person I most love to hate at the moment. I love how she appeared today with both her hair and collar up, ala Cindy McCain. Can't wait for her to ditch the contacts and don a pair of Sarah Palin specs. What a transparent tool. |

I'm glad Tuesdays are the only mornings I can watch (I can on Fridays, but what's the point?). I can't stand watching these bitches. You have
either Elisabeth's completely fucked up point of view. Honestly, I don't mind that she's conservative. I can have intelligent conversations with
people that have different viewpoints, but I can't stand people that don't concede anything . . . ever. She just doesn't come off as having her
own intelligent thoughts. She spits off whatever are the buzzwords/topics of the moment on Fox News. And, the other girls are pissing me off because they are
too fucking scared to voice their opinions. They talk about spouting off their views and that bullshit, but they are so concerned with being PC. And, I
honestly believe that if Palin was a male, they'd have no problems bashing the idiotic point of views.

I find that rather funny. Hey, I keep hearing that Heidi from The Hills is a big McCain supporter. Maybe she can be a guest host for awhile and dazzle us with her hard-hitting analysis. |

she just reminds me of a child who just spews her parents viewpoints back.
she grew up rich, probably with alot of rules, and always listened to her mom and dad. almost like a religious freak. |

I seem to remember Elisabeth commenting one time that her parents were more liberal than conservative. Now isn't that a interesting dynamic? She seems to
believe there's a bogeyman under every bed....maybe that should be the new slogan for McCain/Palin who fuel the Culture of Fear.

It scares me when someone cannot even seem to comprehend the idea that it is frightening to many people that someone who has the chance to be in very powerful
position is bringing up political issues as the will of God. All the candidates are religious. Judge Judy said it best today when she said Biden may not
agree with abortion, but if the legislators will allow it, he will. I've heard stuff about Palin's church (or something she is related to) talking
about praying the gay away. Where's Elisabeth up in arms about that, like she was with Rev. Wright? I don't know what is more pathetic; either these
are Elisabeth's actual feelings or she's afraid to actually say something negative about conservatives (which she praises Palin for doing).
And, I'd like the McCains to be on a day when the show is live. Either way, I'm highly doubting any hardhitting topics to be discussed. |

Since The View came back from hiatus, I've felt The Big Chill. Why aren't Whoopi and Joy hitting Sarah Palin harder? There's certainly enough information coming out about her leadership style, the earmarks, the amount of debt she left Wasilla after her term of office, etc. They may be afraid of supporting the idea of a catfight, but I think they're missing some valuable opportunities to challenge Elisabeth's treacly spewfest about the Repub ticket. |

Elizabeth and Sherri were talking today how they would like a candidate that represented their faith/religious beliefs. If that were the case for me and I had
my way, the new Prime Minister of Canada would be a Conservative Jew. Seriously, religion doesn't mean anything to me for many reasons, the first being
that it really has no role in politics. I don't need some one preaching to me that something is happening because G-D wanted to be so. I don't know
about you guys, but a pipeline through Alaska doesn't sound like G-D wanted it; it sounds more like the way certain politicians would like to have it. In
any case, diverse countries like America and Canada shouldn't have politicians telling their voters and constituents that they believe a certain way and
that's that, and if there are people who don't believe the same way, whether they are a person of faith or not, then there's something wrong with
the politician and no one else.

Joy flat-out said the first day she wasn't going to bash Palin because she's a woman. That's such fucking bullshit. I wonder how long it will
last. It's the same problem I mentioned earlier in this thread. If you don't treat Palin like you would any other candidate, then you're not
really doing much to help your cause in getting women to be respected in powerful positions.
Shockingly, I think Barbara has been doing a little better since the return. She seems to be not like Palin much and doesn't have as much trouble questioning her. I think it was a good point when she brought up what would Palin do when she has to deal with countries who have completely different religious beliefs. If the war is the will of god, a terrorist attack from a foreign nation is one from their god (Barbara didn't say that part, but it's basically her point). She was right that when you say everything is the will of god, you're taking no responsibility for yourself. |

At this point it's all so unbelievable and ludicrous, I'm almost shocked McCain didn't pick Elizabeth as his running mate.

addicted2survivor wrote:Let me see if I remember it all correctly...Do you remember a few months back (or maybe it was a year, honestly I don't remember) when there was that episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit featuring a rape/murder victim name Elizabeth Hassenback? Well, as you might recall, Lizzy got her panties all in a wad over that and talked on The View about she felt that it was a direct shot at her. According to Coby, she decided to call and complain to the SVU production offices, where at that time Rafe from Survivor: Guatemala was working as a receptionist answering phones. Well, if I recall correctly, Rafe is the one who answered her call, and once he knew who she was, started to tell her about how he was on Survivor too and how he loved her on Australian Outback, etc. Well, apparently Ms. Lizzy couldn't have cared less about Rafe or anything he had to say, and rudely told him she wanted to speak to his boss or supervisor or whatever. Rafe handed off the phone to his boss, and apparently Elisabeth wasn't any nicer to him. I guess finally his boss decided to just end the call, but he wanted to get one final shot in before he did, so before he hung up the phone, he snapped at Elisabeth "Oh yeah by the way, my receptionist did better on Survivor than you did." |

Hey, I'm willing to wager that there are enough people--- in my neighborhood alone---who, when tapped to give a donation to pay Elisabeth's salary,
would give generously enough to send her expresso to Faux News where she belongs.

Was she trying to pull off the Palin hair today? It looked very strange. I didn't understand her giant rant today. She was mad that they asked her to
wait to talk but then she was talking about dead air. Did anyone else hear dead air? Dead air is not when they aren't talking over each other. One at a
time is fine, Lizzie. Really it is.
