Actually, I have no idea what you're talking about.

The kids toy commercial! The one with the blocks that snap into each other. It drives me crazy, and somehow I see it at least 32 times a day.
Heres a shitty quality youtube of the video. It's much more annoying when you actually see it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sD9jSSOVdng |

I usually hate all infomercials (except Magic bullet), but something caught my eye during the horrible '10 minute trainer' infomercial. I can't
remember how many minutes in it is, but it's before the 15 minute mark. There is a woman named "Kim" with the occupation of CEO (she's
wearing a yellow outfit/work-out wear). I swear this is Kim from the Amazing Race 5. The only thing is, the woman in the infomercial looks a little more
botox-ed than TAR's Kim.

They bought it for the frozen drinks!!!
I love Myrtle or Hazel - the broad with the cig. |

Have you seen the infomercial with, I believe, it's Tony Little, pushing a "special" pair of shoes that magically make you exercise and lose
weight just by wearing them? Hubby and I both cracked up over this.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but the damn Toyota "Saved by Zero" song is one of the most annoying pieces of shit on tv right now.

The saved by zero spots aren't ones that normally annoy me, but the jingle is so grating that I mute it as soon as it appears. They're way over-airing
it, too.
I'm a huge fan of the chick who goes into the old timey shop to buy smiles, contented laughs and so forth, but has anyone noticed that when the family is kicki back on the beach, there's a guy in an old deep sea diver suit walking around in the background? Very surreal, and out of tone with the ad. |

My fave part is when Hazel ("Did somebody say muffins?") complains about getting all stinky from the garlic, with those ashes always threatening to fall off the end of the cig. I've only seen Mimi do one other commercial, with Stuart Pankin for the orthotics. And I kinda think that the one guy who makes Mimi make him an omelette with everything ("Everything, then. Okay. I understand...") is kinda hot. Did all of these people stay over from a party the previous night? |

Did all of these people stay over from a party the previous night?I've wondered about the strange collection of "friends". You have Hazel in her housecoat and Verlin (Vermin?) seems to have a hangover. Mimi & Mick are so perky! |

I've never seen it on TV, but Google search or look on YouTube for the sequel commercial, for the Bullet To Go, which is the battery-powered version of the Magic Bullet. You'll be glad you did, trust me. |

The magic bullet sucks btw. I only have one because someone gave me theirs but I don't even use it anymore because my roommate's $25 Black & Decker
blends more throughly.
They're also so tiny, a lot of times you can't stuff as much into them as you want to. And they do NOT get the job done in 10 seconds or less. They're really just cheap shitty blenders that are way too small. |

The new roll-over minute commercial is great. The boy is upset that his brother gets all the "new" minutes so mom mixes them up on the table so he
can't tell which is which. Classic.

I like it too.
Happy to see that this has become a recurring series. That "mom" is terrific! Excellent way to illustrate the point, too -- as good as a mainstream ad can get. Meanwhile, can anybody find the clip from Scarface, the Pacino version, where the complacent boss's goons shoot up a nightclub trying to kill Tony Montana? It's really graphic, so maybe it's not online. Lots of bystanders getting mowed down in an orgy of violence. Blood, guts, flying entrails or possibly pasta. (I need it for a fresh round of Olive Garden hatred.) |
