Riddle me this: Why are car companies bragging about 30 mpg? My first car, an 87 Ford Escort, got over 30 mpg hwy. The Honda CRX got 50 mpg hwy, also in the 80s. You'd think they could do a lot better on fuel efficiency 20 years later, especially if it is something they are going to use for marketing.
