Mega-thx for the you Hoboken extended clip -- I've never heard that either.
The "meers" little girl. I read an article about her. Apparently she's a trooper. The elephant standing on ice wasn't CGI, btw. The DLP people filmed her pronouncing mirrors and also in her native accent (anybody know what accent that is), and decided that "meers" had more impact. Anyhow, I now like her. The Domino's spots: I'm not so sure it's a good idea to imply that guys who order pizza are good for only two of the 30 minutes. Plus that red thingie the girl pictures him in? Too weird to process. Bad advertising idea. The Joe's Diner spots. They've been doing these all season, but only recently had Joe shown up, right? I don't recall seeing him in there until recently. I love how he offhandedly says he went to the Superbowl a couple times in the 80's, once in the 90's. No love for the Sony multiple colored hopping & rolling bunnies set to the Stones? I could watch that spot for hours. ETA: ~ P'ha

It's almost as cool watching how they made the commercial as it is watching the actual commercial. The other commercials that Sony made with the bouncy balls and the paint are also cool. On a side note I think that I like the Orbit commercial better when she is just standing there chewing her gum.

BMW (I think it's BMW) has a couple ads running in which people keep asking a car salesman whether what they're buying is really a USED car.
"You're sure it's not a new car? It sure looks like a new car. The interior is spotless. Blah blah blah ....."
Unless the dealer is (illegally) rolling back the odometer, all you have to do is look at it and you'll see it's NOT A NEW CAR. Duuuuuhhhhhhh .....

^^ Seriously! It reminds me of The Hills and anything that reminds me of that show should be shot.
Those BK commercials where they got rid of the Whopper is very annoying. It's only funny the first time you see it, then it gets old. |

Odd that testosterone-targeting Cadillac is using this tactic. The Whopper ads: what I'd like to see are the outtakes of people who just go, "OK, gimme a cheeseburger" or better yet "Cool.� Long overdue." The panorama vista roof: The 2008 Ford Edge. I really like this commercial. The girl in the middle back seat is so entranced with the city sights that she
doesn't notice when they arrive at the restaurant and the friends get out until they call her and ask if she wants them to get her something to go. Very
well done and great acting on the part of Sara.

I absolutely HATE the KFC commercial where the group of people are
talking about the unexpected and then the guy asks the girl if she would go out with him. Who thinks that commercial is funny or witty at all?
I also dislike those credit card commercials with the breakdancers, who end up stopping to dance because someone tries to pay not using the right card. |
