^^ Amelia has needed to get Sam to trust her. Just like a pool shark, she's building up the mark until she's ready to pull the rug out from underneath. Also, much of Amelia's advice to Sam is for her to leave Jason, which would find Sam all alone when the bottom eventually falls out, making her even more vulnerable.

Was Rebecca Herbst's acting particularly atrocious today or am I just biased cuz I hate her character??
Really liked Sonny and Kate today tho. |

Did anyone watch the Daytime Emmy's on Friday? I didn't watch it but I just checked out you.tube to watch Rick's win for supporting actor...as he was coming up to accept the award the announcer said something about it being his 2nd or 3rd win and 5th nom or something like that...and then she said "Rick is a 1st degree blackbelt in karate." How weird was that?!? LOL I dunno, I never watch these awards so maybe they give a little tidbit about all the winners like that, but I thought it was hilarious.

Agreed about Sonny and Kate. I cannot believe that I like Sonny again. Seriously thought that would *never* happen!
Anyone else think that Kate may have ended up having a kid with Sonny all those years ago?? My radar went up once they started talking about kids and family today. SPOILERS: Taken from GHH2 -- Alexis and Ameila will have it out over Sam's contract (lets just say its not in her favor at all!) - Later, Sam will discover the truth about Ameila's background. -- Jason and Sam continue their downward spiral.. merely increasing Sam's fury. -- Lulu will be there for Tracy yet again next week when Tracy gets into further trouble -- Jerry will take a particular interest in Carly... one that may not be entirely healthy! When Jason and Carly find themselves trapped in a broiler room (while looking for Jake), Jerry is the one who rescues them . . then he decides to lock himself in with Carly to 'discuss' matters. -- Liz and Lucky approach Sam to ask if they can appear on EDH to make a public appeal to the baby's kidnapper, and Sam refuses -- Jason will make a deal with Ric -- let him out to search for Jake, and he won't fight going to prison. It's a deal that Ric can't refuse, and Jason will go to prison around the end of June (as Steve Burton goes on vacation) -- Later, Skye will come forward with the flash drive and Ric will be disgraced... Jason will be released, etc, etc, However, Jason will end up having to do community service (?? HUH ??) where he will meet up with a NEW mentor figure. -- By July Liz and Jason will be sharing custody of Jake . . then it looks like they are heading towards a reunion as the writers will place them in a situation where they will be 'stuck' together for an extended period of time. -- Anna will end up being a contact of Jerry's . . wonder how she'll react to him shooting Robin?? -- Jerry will have several females to interact with while Jax is gone (Ingo's vacation), including Carly, Skye, Anna and Alexis, but Alexis is the only one he will become close to (in terms of romantic potential) -- Surprise surprise, Maxie's scheme regarding Logan/Lulu doesn't go exactly as planned . . . -- Looks like Noah Drake has been living a double life. What surprises will be instore for his family and friends this summer?? Will he let his inner "Aussie" out? (don't ask me what the heck that means!!) Patrick will see Noah as he has never seen him before when he accompanies Robin on a trip to Albany. -- Sonny will kiss Kate in front of the paparazzi to get under her skin . . -- Jason suspects that both Sam and Amelia are involved in the kidnapping -- After Jake is found, Carly has a few choice words for Liz . (should be fun. Lots of fireworks a coming!) |

I really like Sonny and Kate together. I love how them being together irritates the hell out of Carly. LOL I have a feeling that Kate got pregnant and either decided not to have the child or gave the child up for adoption. When Sonny was talking to her regarding children she said she regrets her decision after seeing Sonny with his kids. Something like that. ANyway, I love seeing the softer side of Sonny. I like that we are getting to see a glimpse of him before the mob....

Aimee I agree with you about the Kate/Sonny kid possibility. If she didn't have the kid then it wouldn't surprise me if she aborted instead. Hence the huge sense of regret. I actually like the pairing more than I thought I would.
Also love Carly's haircut! |

Re: re | ||

This is also the Sonny that I love. Loved the short sleeved shirt with his arms crossed - and smiling (which he hasn't done in a long time). I love him when he's just being normal and flirty. And cooking for people.
I do like the part of the baby storyline that has Lucky jumping ship on Liz and being suspicious of her. Great choice in husband's Liz, he storms out on you for tying your son's shoelace. Jason needs his annual spiky haircut, but I am seeing a potential reunion for him and Liz - and I think Sam should go totally bad and hook up with Jerry or Ric. |

Wow. Alan is STILL on the show, even though he was killed off months ago. I can only cringe.
Do these writers even watch their own show? I'm thinking not. |

While I agree it's rather hokey, I'm personally glad they are still using him. I missed a LOT of years of GH and only started watching again shortly before he died. To me, it just doesn't seem like GH without him.

yeah, my only complaint about Alan's ghost is that he doesn't
talk to Monica. :) Quote: THANKS! I don't know yet whether I'm right, but it seems logical, based on that movie they ripped off. I am loving Kate and Sonny. I haven't seen the show all week (company from out of town), but will watch the shows on Saturday. Sounds like some good Kate/Sonny scenes. I think Amelia kidnapped Jake to make Sam look bad. |

I really, really hate what they're doing to Sam's character. I'm finding Jason really annoying lately as well...I guess ever since he found out about Jake. Diane love tho - she cracks me up!!

I find that I don't mind the trashing of Sam one bit. In fact, I hope she'll spiral a bit more so that she'll be forced to leave town in shame. I know I'm the only one that hates her though, so...
Meanwhile, how long is this Jake nonsense supposed to last? Can we just get it over with so they can put Jason & Liz back together so I can stop watching them pine over each other once & for goodness sakes all! Enough already! Then Maxie can have her stupid Lucky fantasy, or maybe he'll just go back to drugs which, let's face it was the last time he was remotely interesting right? I mean, none of these kids are his- why would he bother with Elizabeth? Go find some other chickadee- there are plenty of willing ladies in town (I hear Sam's going to be available soon & she could maybe use a friend on the Force). And fwiw, I also agree with y'all about Sonny- after hating him for years all of a sudden Kate has given him back a glimmer in his eye. He's entertaining again. Apparently it was just Carly I couldn't stand. Who knew? |

ITA with everything you said, Kempette!
I liked Sam when she was strong and independent. But this whiney, clingy, weepy thing she has become bores me to tears. I hope she loses her mind and acts out in her desperation. Bring on the destruction! Same thing with Lucky. He's so blah when he's his everyday self. Put him back on drugs. Put him in some crazy situations where he's making poor decisions and endangering other people's lives. Entertain me, dammit! |

Diane love YEH! Wish that "she" could be this "high-profile" love affair that Kate wants Sonny to fake.
Re: Lucky. I want him to go deep undercover and fake being hooked on drugs ... all the while boinking that sexy vixen Dr. Whatsherface (the baby doctor). "This" would make Lucky interesting for the first time since Jacob Young and the NuNicholas had their wonderful homoerotic brothers thing going a couple of years ago. I still like Sam, but I am so sick of the ludicrous, yet somehow also boring, storylines she's involved with. PLEASE god let her spill the babydaddy beans to Lucky today and get this torture over with Nah ... probably misdirection, though. They'll stretch it out until the brat's first birthday ... just Lucky and the Quartermaines will be in the dark for that reveal. Yawn. |

Re: fire the writers | ||

Oooh! I love the idea of Lucky having an affair with Kelly.
Diane rocks! Have you seen her in an ice cream commercial? It's something like Bryer's slow churn something-or-other. She and another woman are poolside watching the "pool boy" work as they enjoy their dirty little secret of eating ice cream. The "pool boy" is a giant tub of ice cream. Glad she's getting other work. We just love her! I'm saying Hail Marys all day that Sam tells all to Lucky today; but you're right, they're probably going to stretch it out longer, those bastards! Spill already! |

Re: fire the writers | ||

My whole problem with the Alan thing is that I really do like him. I've watched the show for a long time and I think he deserved a big sendoff like they SEEMED to be giving him during the hostage crisis. The whole heart attack/SWAT team scene was great!
And then the family seeing him at the hospital and saying their goodbyes. I thought they had it set up really well, and then they blow it by doing this ghost thing. Which was kind of cool at first, but now, months later, just seems really undignified to me--Stuart Damon sitting their bantering with Tracy's character like some joke when he had this huge dramatic death months ago. Then just sticking around until we are sick of him. This ghost thing should have had a MUCH shorter life than this (no pun intended). But of course, they do tend to draw out soap story lines about 10000000 times longer than they should. Man, would I love to see that Lucky storyline above! Fire the writers and hire Cornfed. |

Re: fire the writers | ||

I think I can see a drugged up Lucky hooking up with drunken Sam and helping each other self-destruct and wreak havoc while they hate on Liz and Jason for what they've done to them. And that little scene with Ric & Amelia yesterday kind of opened me up to the possibility of them hooking up as well.

Re: fire the writers | ||

who is Diane Love? I'm sorry to be so ignorant.
I hate the idea of Sam with Lucky. ewww. I thought it was so boring when Lucky was doing drugs! I want Elizabeth to die, and then Sam and Jason raise the baby. That would be kinda cool. maybe Liz can die while killing Amelia for kidnapping Jake. two birds with one stone. |
