Mike Corbin is actually Michael Corinthos Sr. I think the name may be Greek, rather than Latin.

you're welcome, Aunt Pappy. I know how it is to have unanswered questions.
Thanks also for whomever(sorry!) explained about Mike Sr's name change. Corinthos DOES sound Greek. SO... does everyone HATE Amelia? I want her to die. |

Big red ecks on that. I'm already tired of her, and the Connie bitch too. Ditto for the new boy-band looking tools who are sniffing around Lulu and Maxie. BTW, I wouldn't mind if Lulu and Maxie disappeared into the nearest available black hole either.

Maxie-pad can go for all I care but keep Lulu around. Its like the Scooby Doo squad around there but with a slutty Velma who stages evidence instead of finds it.

^^ Lovin' Carly's new cut too!
We're still a day or two behind, trying to catch up ... But we loved that Amelia spilled the beans to Jason about Sam knowing he fathered Jake. Sorry to disagree with you Kaley, but Maxie rocks! Sure, she's a shallow piece of shit. But that's what makes her so much fun to watch. Every word out of her mouth makes me laugh. We need a character who doesn't hold back and doesn't apologize for anything. And I love that she and Lulu go toe-to-toe. |

I am also loving Maxie. Didn't really care for her before but she's been gold since the hostage crisis. (The sex thing with her and Logan is a bit over the top tho)
I liked the interaction between Sonny and Jason yesterday when Jason told him about Jake. I wish he had discussed it with Sam tho. I still really want to like Sam so I hope the writers stop ruining her for me. |

Re: re | ||

^ The main problem with 'Sam' is that the writers - since about Christmas - have been writing her as a dumb, put-upon, loser-in-life ...
... but Kelly is still playing her as a heroine. It's an embarrassing fit, and embarrassing to be watching to be frank. |

I haven't watched this since the early 70's. Jeannie Francis sure got old & pudgy didn't she? Now I'm wondering if I look older & pudgier that I did back then.
Hell yeah! |

I love the parade of visitors Jason is allowed to have.
I thought summer was supposed to be a time of good storylines and hot action? These writers really DO blow, don't they? |

Julie Benson (Lulu) looked pissed at the Emmy's tonight when she lost the younger actress award. I thought it would have been either her or Levin Rambin from AMC.

Why does Jason always have that 'deer in headlights/constipated' look on his face? |

(On a side note, I 100% agree with whoever said that Lulu was robbed at the Emmy's!! Also, I thought Genie looked fab last night. Far from being 'pudgy', I think whatever diet she's been on since she was on GH last is working beautifully! So glad that Genie won! Maybe this will wake up those idiots in charge and bring her back for good???!)
Spoilers taken from GHH2 - Carly will initially think that Jerry snatched Jake . . especially once a drunken Sam reveals a little too much about Jake's paternity... - Jason will freak out when Sam gets a delivery of baby clothes sent to the appartment - Kudos to whoever posted their theory about Logan working for the cops! Ric will begin to think that Logan would be the perfect mole! - On June 22, Sam is taken into custody for the kidnapping of Jake. Amelia will lie and give Sam an alibi. - June 25th, the audience will learn who kidnapped the baby - In the hooplaw surrounding the kidnapping, more people will be let into the paternity secret including Carly (spoiled above) and Nikolas. Nik will want to spill to Lucky, but Lulu talks him out of it. - There might be more than meets the eye surrounding the 'coincidental' initial meeting between Kate and Sonny... Carly may have good reason for being suspicious. -- Surprise surprise, the story that Jerry told Carly about the woman he loved dying in front of him is far from accurate. Sad that the spoilers are so few, and not really that spoilery! We really need new writers! |

Is it just me or does it seem really obvious that Amelia is going to kidnap Jake and frame Sam for it? What an innovative story. |

I'm think the guest who saved her son in the fire yet her baby daughter died will kidnap the baby. The Everyday Hero lady. She seemed a little unbalanced and its was odd that they would reference a baby's death and then Elizabeth's kid gets kidnapped a few weeks later. No doubt though Ameilla will assist somehow.

I've got to be honest here...I actually thought Craigerry might be the culprit.

Re: re | ||

Who else thinks that, for a woman hellbent on destroying Dumb Sam, Amelia has spent months being a helluva good friend to her? ... strong advice, shoulder to lean or cry on, protecting and apparently ready to give an alibi ... what a disaster of a storyline.
EMMYS: Michael Bruno's appearance on an otherwise useless Emmy recap on SoapNet gave some insight on Julie Berman's somehow losing the award in Younger Actress. He said that she was the obvious winner until he saw her reel. She chose a crap scene that featured more her argumentative side. Bruno said that she was amazing on both Genie's and Tony's reels, and if she'd have submitted part of those ... well you know. Instead, he said, the result was another Landon win. The Lulu/Luke abortion talks, IMO, would have won Berman the statue hands-down. Understated = heartbreaking. Among Bruno's "wuzrobbed" picks: Nancy Lee Grahn for Lead Actress. Linda Dano and the other hostess wholeheartedly agreed, as do I. And Kristin Storms for Supporting Actress. I say, yes and no. No, Storms was but a pest in the eligible period for "this" Emmy year. But, yes, she's been very good beginning with the hostage storyline ... which marked the beginning of the 2008 Emmy year. She's now integral in the Spencer stories (Berman should thank her for the Lulu/Maxie rival scenes). Kristin could well get her nom next time around. I'm loving her work. |
