I didn't really like the episode. It seemed a little over the place, but

I just rewatched and the peanut butter ep is much better on second viewing. I love that Google trends result.
My fave point of the ep was not Barney talking about Robin, but about Lily being the pupper master and pure evil. "You've got a good one there." This by the way confirms suspsicions that many of us have had over the past few months. |

Rewatching "The Goat" right now...Ted's 31st birthday should be airing either this week or next.

I enjoyed this episode too. Barney is so cute when tries to hide his feelings for Robin. I loved Marshall as the master manipulator. Lilly would be proud of her Marshmellow. |

I finally saw last week's episode. As to the joke at the beginning, I've always heard it as:
"What's the difference between Jelly and Jam?" "I can't jelly my cock down your throat." Yeah it's not a very good pick up line. |

8:45 and there is already a classic on the air.
"he clearly doesn't know what LOL means..." ETA: and just when they start to get a little too uncomfortablly homoertotic, they kick the door in and go insane. AWESOME EP!!! Much needed after the recent drought! You had to know NPH was having a blast with all that. Barney on the -ly vs. -li distinction. This is true.

Once the Jesus / 3 day call rule convo happened in the opening segment, I knew this was gonna be good.

What a great episode. The Jesus story was great. Stan was awesome. I watched it twice and it was even funnier the second time. |

Anyone else get a frisson when old Ted said "as soon as I got your mother's number, I called her" or summit?
The underlying mystery remains fresh to this day, to the point when I hear anyone coming in to their bar, I look for a yellow umbrella. Or a goat. AND DAMMITY WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THE GOAT?! Bleat this, Lili, oops, Lily. |

Yeah the phone number line stuck with me. Tells me he hasn't gotten her number yet so that should rule out anyone he's dated/been friends with in
theory. Of course it doesn't rule out background characters.

I just loved how stupid Marshall and Barney looked when they tried to see who Ted was in love with.
