Anyone catch this? I thought it was decent, definitely had some good laughs. Sucks that its Willow vs. Xander in the 8:30 slot, but thank goodness for TiVo.

Doogie was awesome, the main guy was good. The ending was a surprise but willow and that other best friend douche sucked hel the cabbie was better than those two.

The laugh track was pretty fucking awful, but beside that it was a fairly harmless and charming sitcom.
That surprise was a complete shocker that I didn't particularly care for, it's like anything that we got to really care about or any chemistry we felt between them was vanquished just to shock the audience. |

I think the surprise at the end is when the older Ted who is narrating calls the girl Aunt Robin.

I think it means that the girl he was dating at the beginning ends up being his sister-in-law.

Well if she's Aunt Robin to the kids then he ends up two-timing her with her sister?
Like I said, the two had such chemistry I didn't like the twist at all. It seemed to be there simply to serve as a shock to the audience, it wasn't the right way to tell the story. |

I actually watched this because the previews looked really good. Suprisingly, I did really like this show. I laughed a few times (which is a good thing, considering almost all the sitcoms are now shitty)
I will probably continue to watch for a while anyway. |

I watched mainly because I love me some Neil Patrick Harris (he was awesome, btw). Overall, the show is a little too "aw shucks" for my taste, but I'll keep watching it, at least until Fear Factor's new season begins, then I'll download it if I'm still interested.
I think the main guy referred to his male friends as "Uncles" when telling the story to his kids, so even though he called the girl "Aunt" it may not mean she and his wife are actually related. Some of my friends' kids call me "Aunt" too. |

Just watched it. I didn't like this shit when it was called 'Friends' and I don't like it now.
Too bad. It has a great cast. The writers should be shot on sight. |

wasn't that bad. Had its moments for sure, and usually comedy pilots aren't a good indication of the rest of the show since they're forced to be introductory. I'll see what episode 2 has to offer.
And Jason Segal is the man, he was awesome in Undeclared/Freaks And Geeks. |
