Even though 
The "Project Runway" dispute will remain in state court.
A district court judge ruled Tuesday that the case surrounding the future of the hit reality show will be tried New York State Supreme Court. In October,
Lifetime had asked that the case be moved to federal court.
The network was not named as a defendant in the original breach-of-contract suit, filed by NBC Universal against "Project Runway" producer the
Weinstein Co. in April when the latter made a surprise announcement that it was moving its hit show from NBC Uni's Bravo to Lifetime.
Richard Sullivan, judge for the U.S. District Court, Southern District, of New York, wrote in Tuesday's ruling that Lifetime "first sought to
intervene in the state court action" in July.
"Lifetime chose to delay its intervention in the state court action for strategic considerations," Sullivan wrote. "While Lifetime was
perfectly entitled to adopt a strategy of waiting on the sidelines until it felt its position was strengthened by the recordation of its interests, it
cannot now, having been unfavorably impacted by the state court's ruling, avoid the consequences of its strategic decision."
In a statement, NBC Universal said: "NBC Universal is pleased that the federal court has rejected Lifetime's untimely procedural maneuvering to
get NBC U's 'Project Runway' case out of state court, where it has always belonged and will now rightfully return."
Lifetime in November filed suit in Manhattan federal court against NBC Universal and Bravo Media, claiming Lifetime holds the copyrights to the show
through its deal with TWC.
Said Lifetime: "While we believe that NBC U's lawsuit should have remained in the federal court, we will press our copyright claims through our
independent lawsuit against NBC U in the federal court, and if necessary, in the NBC U suit in New York State court. We look forward to this entire matter
being resolved in an expeditious manner and remain hopeful that, in the end, Lifetime will be home to 'Project Runway.' "

....Our prediction? Runway will show three anonymous collections, sans the designer introductions...My first thought was this as well. Why do they have to show us who is in charge of the collections, and if there is a guest judge they will be unbiased by any preconceptions of the designers. It should be based solely on the collection and this way it could be. I hope we get to see this! |

The answer to preventing spoilers at New York Fashion Week can't be as simple as anonymous collections. Like Drew said, it's usually easy to identify collections, and only the PR ones would lack introductions. Besides, Tim wouldn't have been so amazed by something as simple as canning the intros. 
I think they should have every designer introduce each collection like it's theirs, but only show the real designer's intro on TV. It'd be hilarious to have watched Laura introduce Jeffrey's line as if it was her own.

I just read that Lifetime is giving back all the advertising money for PR and that they might never air the show
Seriously, this is so fucking stupid. They can air this shit on pay per view for all I care, I just want to watch it. Oh, and there's an official date for the final 3 showing their collections: February 20th, now less than a month away. And I'll lol so hard if they just show the lines "anonymously." Like a blind turd couldn't have pointed out Leanne's, Korto's, and Kenley's collections automatically. By the time the first or second eppy aired we'd be able to match them with any contestant. |

But I've already seen all the PR US, Canada, Australia and Korea (starting soon).Britain has had three seasons of Project Runway, but they call it Project Catwalk. Elizabeth Hurley hosted the first season and Kelly Osbourne hosted the other two. It looks like all three seasons are up on YouTube. |

I wish American tv would air reality programming from overseas. You'd think it would be cheaper than producing their own shiteous shows, and I think a
lot of American reality fans would be into it. Either that, or let foreigners compete in our shows. I would rather watch a season of a show on tv than on
Youtube (but I am glad people overseas are nice enough to upload their shows to Youtube.)

I thought Fox Reality aired some Aussie and British versions of shows like Temptation Island and Biggest Loser.
I would like to see more subtitling of stuff like Expedition Robinson (original Survivor) and Paradise Hotel. |
