I didn't really feel either way about Korto before tonight, but now I cannot stand her. Her attitude toward Kenley backstage was stupid, especially given
what Kenley actually said. All Kenley said was that Korto's designs weren't worthy of fashion week; it's not like she said Korto was an unfit
mother. Korto's the one that took it to a personal level, not Kenley.

Who cares what these people are like in real life or how they act 24/7? Obviously I'm talking about my opinion of Korto as a character on an edited TV
show. Based on how she is presented on the show, I cannot stand Korto. Why is that so hard to understand?

I'm no fashionista, but all four dresses were really horseshit.
Kenley's WAS creepy- like something the wife in Adams family would wear, or those space aliens pretending to be women in the Burton movie. Like that. Creepy and scaly. Yuck. |

I don't get their affection for Jerrell's dress AT ALL! The squinched boobies made it look like Victorya designed the bodice. The "jewel"
work in the middle was tacky to the nth degree. The bottom half was a mess. Worst of all, the midsection stuck out at least 6 inches further than the breasts
to the point that it looked like maternity wear! On top of all that, it bore no relation at all to his inspiration photo! Those flowers were simple and
delicate and bright and had a completely different color palate and mood than the somber, almost congealed-blood color scheme he went with. As much as
Korto's was boring and Kenley's was a tacky Bob Mackie retread sans shoulder pads, theirs had some redeeming qualities. Kenley's was at least
CLEARLY based on her inspiration.
I ended up really liking Leanne's gown, minus the unfortunate bolt of blue fabric. Even there, I liked the idea, but the execution was slapdash, as it was literally a last-minute addition. |

I am really cracking up at all those who are "The Kenley Crew." They mock the haters, talk about how melodramatic they are, say the
"haters" talk is all "blah blah blah..." which may be true and is just as true for their own tired defenses of her.

Jerrell's dress was ugly as fuck and the fit was a joke. I thought he'd be auf'd for sure (thus saving bitch Kenley for the finale), and was
shocked that the judges picked him as the winner. What was innovative or interesting about his dress, exactly?

I kind of like all the 4 remaining designers, just like last year's. Although I am still rooting for Kenley. I like her style, she makes for interesting
television, and to be honest, the "villains" of the season are people I don't usually like but Kenley is one of the exceptions because she's
kinda cool, too. I dunno. That's just me.

This season has been so strange...my view towards each contestant seems to change every week.
I was rooting for Jerell....but i did not like that dress and frankly think he was pretty damn rude to Kenley. Last week it was funny, but this week it just seemed to go too far. Kenley used to annoy the shit out of me....but I actually felt like i began to understand why she is the way she is....and actually feel for her a bit. We don't know her past, so she very well could have had it as difficult as she has suggested....she certainly seems the type that has been alienated in the past so her way of managing that is to alienate people before they can do the same to her. I was glad they gave her the chance to stay and compete at fashion week. Korto's nasty side has come out as well....and I don't really have an opinion on her one way or the other. As for Leanne, I don't think anyone could be upset if she wins cause she's just so damn adorable....even if the folds and rolls in all her garments are getting a little old... |
