Of course, that is probably my ridiculous crush on Leanne talking. Mousy-beautiful indeed.

Country and Hip-Hop were probably the two toughest genres because they are the two least defined for the females (well, rock and punk would be tough too, big
benefit to a male model or pop). Country's changed so much from Loretta Lynn to Carrie Underwood, and women haven't been represented heavily in
mainstream (Kenleyrange) hip-hop.

Country is not fashionable. Period. I take it you missed Trace Adkins' FIERCE photoshoots on the Celebrity Apprentice. I was really hoping one of the styles would have been Classical - I can't believe they haven't done a "reinvent historical clothing" challenge yet. Kenley being kept around after sucking at only one challenge is nowhere near as ridiculous as Ricky surviving week-after-week without even providing any entertainment value and producing undeniably worse clothes. |

Shania, Faith, and even Tim McGraw has made country fashionable. So blah at that.

robbiefan wrote:Yeah, but can you say definitively what their styles are. If someone said - 'dress him or her like, Shania, Faith or Tim', can you come up with anything? Shania - hasnt been on the scene in what, 5 years? One video she was wearing a sari. On the superbowl, she wore a leather Janet Jackson-esque dominatrix outfit. Faith - while she's hot, everytime I see her she's dressed like a hot mom going out for martinis with the girls on Friday night. Look at the Sunday Night Football intro - some basic white shirt and black pants. That doesnt say country. Tim McGraw - tight jeans, black t-shirts, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. Um, that's not 'fashion forward' - that's the prototypical country male uniform. Then look at the super popular players out there now - Rascall Flatts? These guys all dress like Ryan Seacres - spiky hair, fancy expensive trendy jeans and trendy button up shirts. Seriously, they look like any metro dude. Carrie Underwood? She's always wearing beautiful high fashion clothes and shoes - her style is more like that of a actress at an awards show versus a 'country girl'. Miranda Lambert? Ripped up old Levis, cowboy boots and a vintage beat up band t shirt - Foghat, Thin Lizzy, etc. The point? Outside of the 'guys in cowboy hats' thing, I really don't see any sort of country style out right now. Of course, you've always got that over the top rhinestone shit on Grand Old Opry live. That's a possibility. |

Now THAT would have been funny.
Price tag hanging from a flowery old lady hat a la Minnie Pearl. Frayed sleeves, low cut blouse (implants) Calico and plaid patterns. Rope belt. Hot pants ultra short (not sure Korto would have liked that). Oversized cowboy boots with the sides of the feet cut out for comfort (real country folk don't wear shoes!) Model muching on straw. Carrying a double x moonshine bottle in one hand, a baby in another. Hawt? OMG! |

I happen to think she was also the second worst (after Blayne) on double-elimination week with the horoscopes, but that's not the point. Was there ever a time when Ricky was clearly the worst, or did he just squeak by being SECOND worst week after week after week? |

That if someone knocks it out of the part 9 weeks in a row and then has one miss, you think they should go over a Ricky or a Wendy (on pure talent base, not entertainment)? Really? I mean, you're going to get a totally random winner every season, but okay. We now return to our regularly scheduled Kenley haters meltdown. |

I mean, you're going to get a totally random winner every season, but okay. It's not what I think, but rather how the show is set up... It shouldn't be hard for the best designer to avoid having unquestionably the WORST design on any given week. And there is a lot of room for subjectivity. Most weeks, there are several designers vying for the title of "worst", so the judges/producers get to use discretion. This week, though, that wasn't the case. Every human being on the planet (except, apparently, for you) can see that Kenley's was the very, very worst. It wasn't even close. To me, the downside of this is not that a Wendy or a Ricky could squeak by -- it is rather that the best designers will play it safe and aim for the middle because they want to avoid the bottom... |

Seriously? Are you delusional? This dress is hideous. Put down the kool-aid and step away from the crack pipe.
