Quote: And didn't Michael Kors say in horror, "You made a CANCER dress?" or something like that? Season one was by far the best, but all three seasons were excellent. They'll never find anoth true character like Austin. He's in a universe all his own. I saw a bit of the season three finale last week and its really clear that PR is a much more serious show than either Top Chef or Top Design. The judges, Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, they really are interested in the work and want to see good design. Their comments are always legitmate whether you personally agree with them or not. And I get the impression they really want the designers to do well. Top Chef/Design both seem to be more about the bitching, fighting and drama and the snotty judges. |

I also miss PR1...TAR5 & PR1 are my favorite seasons of a reality show ever, they are perfect.
The cast of PR1 is perfection, especially my all time favorite villian Wendy Pepper (even more than the Guidos and Mama Weaver of TAR). <3 Wendy <3. I'm really looking forward to season 4, hopefully with there being a full year between season 3 and 4 they were able to spend the proper time on casting. |

Quote: And she provided Tin Gunn with his best line of all. When she got mad at the reunion show, broke her glass and stormed out Heidi said, "She's gone?" and Tim Gunn said, "And appropriately represented by a puddle of red wine and shards of broken glass." |

Well hell if the old thread no longer exists I can clear up lots of space in my photobucket account. There are, however, a few gems worth saving for archival purposes and I'll try to take care of that before the new season starts.
We can start with these oldies but goodies. Should you be curious, the gown Tim Gunn is wearing is the one RuPaul wears on the cover of his "You Better Work" album. ![]() ![]()

I saw that there was a season 1 marathon the other day, and it pisses me off that every single time they have a marathon, it's the episode after the tumor dress. And, they never show the reunion.

In the Ironically Funny Department:
Jeffrey Sebelia is totally broke but designing costumes for Paula Abduls Bratz movie Project Runway 3 winner Jeffrey Sebelia may be totally broke, he says, but hes also working on Paula Abduls forthcoming movie, a live-action version of the Bratz dolls franchise. Even after receiving the shows $100,000 prize, The truth is, Im totally broke, he tells New York Magazine. Thats a result of paying off debt related to his Cosa Nostra label. Trying to find $3 to pay for parking, he told the interviewer, Im just so tired of haggling. I mean, this is not a big deal, Im just so tired of it. At least one of his friends doesnt appreciate the dilemma. Giving Jeffrey the finger, a friend Jeffrey ran into on the street said, Where the hell have you been? Just getting richer? Since the show, Jeffrey has more or less fallen out of touch with the judges and producers, the magazine reports, and the mentorship with Macys that was meant to be a part of the Project Runway prize was slow to begin. However, he does have wok. Im almost afraid to admit what Im doing, but its costumes for a movie. Its a live-action movie for the Bratz. Yeah, those slutty dolls, he said. That movie is being executive produced by American Idol judge Paula Abdul, whose work on the film will be chronicled in her new reality series. Paula Abdul and Bratz are all his fame has really bought him. Its things like the Bratz movie that are really interested in having someone who won Project Runway attached to their show. Most of the companies Id like to be involved with really couldnt give a shit that I was on TV, he said. |

Wow. A live action Bratz movie. I thank all that is holy that my daughter never got into those whoring dolls.
Tim Gunn was on Martha the other day, and he was of course wonderful. He had some students from Parsons on, and they did a little fashion show. They briefly mentioned him going to Estee Lauder, but he clearly loves Parsons. |

Ha, I love that Jeffery has done nothing since winning and is stuck doing Bratz movies, or whatever the fuck it is.
On the other hand, I'd be willing to bet that Uli is raking in the dough considering how many people were interested in her stuff following fashion week. |

Quote: All joking aside, Austin is probably the most successful (and smartest) of the Project Runway crowd. I was in Saks on Michigan Ave. a couple months ago and he was there with the Keneth Pool trunk show. There were signs up in the store with his name but none of them mentioned Project runway. It just said Designer Austin Scarlet, Creative Director. We went up to see what was going on, and there he was...all business. He landed a big position and he doesn't seem concerned with being a center of attention. |
