I think ABC made a stoopid choice - but that's just me. Anyone but Jake was a very popular consensus - I'll be curious as to the ratings up against How
I Met your Mother, Big Bang Theory, 2.5 Men on CBS and House on Fox. And when the Olympics start is Feb they oughta really drop.......

I think ABC should have gotten somebody new and financially very well off, like some former Bachelors. Then again, maybe they're having a hard time finding
someone like that who is willing to do the show. Apparently, Jake really wanted this gig and some others from last season turned it down.

I think it would've been a good idea to look at some of the rejects from very early on - like Bryce (the only one of the premium 5 Jillian didn't
choose to stay)....someone who showed commitment to the process that was a basic unknown. Just a selfish thought on my part. But i should thank MF for giving
me the 'perfect' excuse to pass on this season.

Jake might not be the most exciting guy in the world, but he so much fun to look at. And beside, I don't think he can be any worst than Bob, Jesse, Travis,
Lorenzo and Jason. Let's give him a break. I have a feeling he is going to surprise us.

I think that's why Kiptyn, Reid, or others didn't work out. Either they said no, because they didn't want to get involved with this show again, or
abc didn't think they'd be as easy to use as Jake.
As someone else said, just <3 that it isn't Kiptyn ETA: ^^ and yes, he is very fun to look at. I never really had a huge problem with him during the show until he came back during the HTD's. |

I think Jake was the logical choice. Kiptyn seems like a nice guy, but unfortunately he doesn't have much of a personality and I never got the feeling that
he was really into all of this. I am willing to bet he got talked into doing the show. Don't get me started with Reid. I couldn't get over the manpower
to make him the next Bachelor. I have a feeling if he weren't unemployed and living with his parents, it would have worked. The Republicans should have a
chat with the people behind that campaign.

Bob and DeAnna had big personalities. Viewers loved them when they were contestants. But, as the Bachelor/ette, they sucked big time. I loved Jen on
Andrew's season, but couldn't stand her entitled arse when she was the Bachelorette. I am going to give Jake a chance. I don't think he can be any
worst than Jesse and PLo.

It took him what? 8 months to propose to her? With Melissa it was about 6 weeks. I saw a picture of Molly and Jason from some event, and I thought it was
Melissa at first.
I was actually rewatching the first episode of Jason's season, and thought about Jake at the M&G. Remember on Matt's season when that drunk chick gave him her underwear? Imagine if that happened to Jake? lol |
