I mean I thought David Archuleta was overrated (and he was) but America voted him through every week. I can almost guarantee that most of America agrees with the judges. I disagree. Donald was very generic, same old same old as in past weeks, but he was good, not necessarily great, and clearly one of the top 3 of the night.

Yes but in past weeks he didn't really have stiff competition, like he has tonight. It was a bunch of fodder acts. Most of the top 10 are all favorites and have been at one point or another, with exception of the Wright Kids. Also, according to the judges he wasn't top 3. They all gave Queen a standing O, and David gave Jessica one. They also told Neil he was going to win. So clearly that's not how they felt. Like or not, they are the medium that connects America to the performances. They basically tell us if it was good enough, and 9 times out of 10, America follows suit.

Yes, that would also mean the first few and the last few, people seldomly remember the middle. Depending on the number, their are statistics show that far fewer people remember number x,y, and z in the list.

Queen doesn't? America fucking LOVES their diva singers. On every season of American Idol, there has been AT LEAST one diva (season 3/6 had 3) in the top 4.

Then why do when the judges declare a winner after the performance show (on like every talent show) that they always go on to win. For Idol, Carrie, Kelly, Fantasia, Taylor, and Jordin all went on to win after they were told they won. Also, Bianca very much did so. If people don't listen to America, then why the hell is there always a shocker boot every season of every show because of backlash voting when a contestant is criticized.

If you don't watch NBC or pay attention to any pattern of any show, she is constantly featured in every commerical and promo of this show (right along side Neal). Not based on stats. Stats have shown on shows like this that the 1st and 2nd performer has a greater chance of getting voted off than the ones who come after.

On season 5 there were none. However that doesn't matter. What matters is they love diva singers who are good. A lot of times, diva singers go out early

Season 5 is the exception, as there are exceptions to every rule. However Paris didn't finish far out of the top 4, 5th place. Actually, Katharine sang way more songs out of the diva song book than Paris ever did, and she was final 2.

Yes, a lot of diva singers go out early. However, there is usually always one that goes the distance. In this situations, there is one and she will go far if not win. I mean do you think think she's going home just because you *thought* she sucked? It doesn't mean America agrees and your opinion certainly doesn't coincide with what America necessarily believes.

Queen Emily isn't a fucking loser. If you think she sucks, then you are crazy. She definately wouldn't be on the worst reels on American Idol. So you don't think she's the best, fair enough, but the worst, no! Also, you are completely talking about another situation. Also, the judges usually don't OTT support acts that suck anyways, so what you are saying is irrevelant. If they are decent and have a good voice, like all the singers left do, they can make America buy whatever it is they are selling, any good salesman can do that. It's not like they are trying to tell us William Hung is the best singer ever. No they are saying Queen and Neal are the best, that isn't so hard to believe as much as the first is.

That was different as that song wasn't performed on American Idol in ages and it was just performed on Dreamgirls and it sounded better than how Queen Emily sounded, so they almost ate that shit up.

Maybe it was circumstantial, maybe it wasn't. My guess is every American Idol viewer didn't see Dreamgirls or see it when Bianca sang it on season one (and at that point it was only a broadway production). So what's your explanation of that? Also, I love Bianca but I admit she wasn't as amazing as they made her out to be. She definately had her rough spots. However, she was decent enough for the judges to pass off as the next best thing and what did America do? They bought it, like they always do. Never once has the viewers completely went against what the judges wanted on any show and voted for someone they were not for, ever, and I don't see it happening this time. They know how to manipulate the same audience that votes for every show. Subliminal messages, pimping, overexposure whatever. The producers are vets and they know how to get what they want.

No they have it most of the time, and about 5% of the time not. However, they almost always get the outcome they wanted, especially on this show. Shocker boots aren't even shocking. The judges say shit knowing whats going to happen. Chris' boot on AI5 was a total set up just so they could be so omg *shocking*. Same with Tamyra.
