He picked Amanda, the 25 year-old dumbass who actually believes "this is happily ever after."
Really, I have to say I am surprised he didn't choose someone more resembling dear old mom and sis:

Re: Eliminations | ||

so dude did what everyone would have predicted and picked the younger one?
don't blame "tennis" boy. there is a biological imperative in play here. i have a cat. his name is albert. he don't think, he just do. instincts. millions of years of "in your dna" programming that just make him make certain decisions without thought. if i could reason with albert he would be all, "you know what, sofa? you are right. i shouldn't have jumped up on the counter and started to devour you dinner. my bad." but no. that's just what albert do. and that's just what tennis boy do... |

Re: Eliminations | ||

no it means she would pick from young hot guys vs older men in her peer group..
Man talk about narrow sexist/ageist views.. she is a hot 48 y/o woman and any man who is into women as women would love to be with her regardless of her or their age.. just because you have "issues" with women don't project them onto every woman.. there are women at every age who are hot and smart and funny and you have to be open to it... if you aren't so fucking what why does anyone care about who should be appropriate for someone else... |

now calm down glam...
the poster above suggested that jen have the same opportunity on the same kind of show. given jen's age difference from tennis boy's that would mean you would have to include dudes up to 65 or so. that was my comment. nothing more... |

Re: Eliminations | ||

I am really pissed off they lead us on to believe Jennifer was going to win. Then again, NBC does that shit all the time. Always editing the exact opposite of the outcome, so fucking predictable. I remember when they did that with Paige in "For Love or Money" and he ended up picking fricking Erin?
Amanda was like fatal attraction. Have fun Mark because you will have zero breathing room with her jeolous self. I mean everytime a girl talked about their date she would go rat him them out. They made her out to be a catty bitch and yet she still fricking wins. I don't see the connection there since she is so shy and she barely gets a word in. I guess Mark didn't want a strong woman but one he can control. |

t Quote: yes but you neglected to mention the younger counterparts and as Harrison Ford is 60 I wouldn't reject him or say Bill Clinton who is 65 and attractive.... remember there are men who are also hot over 55 too... Beauty in the Eye of the Beholder and your previous remarks have always been sexist and ageist.. mask it if you want but.. |

you apparently are unfamiliar with my posting here at Sucks which has been through many years of my mocking many shows like this..
You are known for over analyzing and debating the concepts and plots of shows for the nth degree which I don't.. as I don't care.. but there was no sense of irony or mockery in demeaning women about their age and how men choose them due to DNA.. how is that funny.. it doesn't appear funny... |

From the Bachelor--Charlie & Sarah?, Mary and [I forget his name], and recently Tessa and the navy doctor though maybe it's too soon to tell if they'll last. Oh, and Romber! And the TAR twin and Flo, right?

I really liked Jen the most out of all of the ladies. I would love to see her get her own show and pick from older and younger guys.

Good news, Rob has a new reality show he is the host of for in the Fall, called "Tontine." Rob always reminds me of Jimmy Kimmel.
The last episode of this "Age of Love," zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. |

Re: Eliminations | ||

Starfire--sorry , I didn't realize you were only talking about reality "love shows." Ignore my comments about Romber and Flo and the twin from TAR.
I've actually only seen the last two seasons of the Bachelor but if there are three couples still together since it started (out of how many seasons 6? 7?), and one out of two for the Bachelorette, there are more couples still together than I would have expected. That said, I have no faith in a long-term relationship working out for Amanda and her tennis pro. |
