I love these 2 together and they are the ONLY couple on this show ('cept Denny/Izzy) that have chemistry. Burke had to call off the wedding, because who in their right mind would want to marry someone that needs to be FORCED down the aisle?? His speech was wonderful, as were his vows. He loves Christina, but needs to know Christina loves him as much. Sandra Oh is the best actress on this show and her scenes were great. Finally, a real cliff hanger -- Burke not getting "Chief" and calling off the wedding leaves me wondering if he'll be leaving Grey's. Personally, I hope not, because he is a great actor and his character is among the best on this show. I've never liked Meredith -- she annoys me more than anything. Can't stand her and Derek together. They are so unbelievable as a coulple -- Derek the "looking for his true love" and "old-fashioned romance" ways is a horrible fit for someone as selfish and pathetic as Meredith. Personally, Izzy & Derek would have been a great match -- but too late to get them together now. Since Meredith will always be on the show (unfortunately) please let Derek never get back with her. She deserves to be just like her mother -- let her whore around and just be a cold, self-centered surgeon who hates herself. Hate the Izzie pining for George storyline -- worst thing for them to ever do. It did not fit either character to sleep together. Their BFF chemistry is now forever ruined. Shocked that Bailey didn't get Chief Res, but I think the Denny incident and having a baby were the factors. The Chief has gone over ad nauseam how being a chief takes up every aspect of one's life -- to the detriment of relationships. Bailey has a seemingly good marriage and is a mom and the Chief wants to spare her. I loved Callie getting together with George, mostly because someone needed to help George grow a pair and Callie was the only one to do that. I'd like them to stay together, but the baby thing would be a bad move. It is not in Callie's character to all of a sudden want to push out babies. I hope George does his internship over and stays, but the writers created a real mess with Izzie & George sleeping together. I want more of McSteamy next season. He is hot and his cockiness is also hot. He was way under-utilized this season. Now with Addison gone, I'd like to see McDreamy-McSteamy friendship mended and the two can get out and satisfy the ladies. Loved Addison on Grey's, but the spinoff looks like it will bomb quickly. Too bad.

It was a great finally but once you think about how screwed up everything has become and with so many of the great relationships in shambles, it makes you wonder if the show will be able to recover from itself. And loved the Lexi Grey revelation. Wouldn't it have been great if Meredith died in the finally and Lexi was the new intern who tried to save her but failed and only later found out it was her long lost sister. And that way Lexi could be the new main character, and it would still be Grey's Anatomy. Damn I should write for this show. I would never have let Izzy and George sleep together.

There are a small number of male/female palatonic turned sexual turned emotional friendships that can survive. I think between being torn between Callie & Izzie (fool that he is; he's not good enough for either of them but he and Izzie deserve each other at this point), his failure as an intern combined with his wife's success as a resident, his lack of funds and his wife's riches, George won't be able to get it up. The resulting stress will ultimately break them up.

She clearly loves George and wants her husband to herself as evidenced by her telling Izzie that in the elevator but Callie doesn't seem like a desperate hack. I just can't see Callie lying about being pregnant just to keep George. She seems to self-respecting for that type of behaviour.

Residents make roughly $30,000+. Interns aren't even paid a substancial amount. Adding in Callie's specialty, that $80-90,000 seems about right. Childcare, on the other hand, wouldn't cost nearly as much as been said, seeing how most hospitals have their own child care facilities. Who the hell is a hospital social worker again? And, Im guessing the amount you got that was 80k was a surgeon. Residents are not surgeons yet. Residents have a 4 year period of being underneath fellowship surgeons until they can make the big cash.

Most doctors/surgeons choose to pay off all their loans within a few years, so all of their big big cash will all be there afterwards and they dont have to worry about it.
