I don't even care to remember when or how Izzy suddenly fallen madly in love with George. I think Shonda Rhimes is great in destroying likable characters and turned them into whinny little bitches. This story and several others have just turned the show into my shit list show. I will trade this crap for Brothers & Sisters anytime.

I really, really want to see Callie kick Izzie's ass just because it would be so hilarious and justified, but then again I'd like to see Callie be the bigger person and tell that bitch that she's not worth it.

Izzie isn't worth hitting and being angry at and George isn't worth wasting her time on anymore.
They're both pathetic losers now. I used to really like both characters and I could even handle annoying Izzie, but this stupid affair has ruined them both completely. Callie doesn't deserve that crap. |

So I just watched the episode. Callie definitely needs to have a smackdown with Izzie.
Oh and wtf is with Meredith. If she was smart enough to realize that she wasn't talking about Denny did she think Callie wouldn't realize who she was talking about? Fucking idiot. Damn Addison and Callie are the best characters on the show, Grey's will be at a loss for me without Addison so Callie can't leave. |

I finally started watching last weeks episode, and Susan died from c-dif (def)? I had that myself, and it just seems really odd that she would die from it just like that. Where's the nurses with a little more info about this?

Izzy used to be one of my favorite characters, now she is just too annoying to deal with. From being goofy best friends to now "I'm in love with you George, and I (think/hope?) you are in love with me too." This story line makes me want to puke.

C-Diff is a type of bacterial infection which produces spores. It's usually caused by treatment with broad spectrum antibiotics which kill off the normal, good, bacteria in the bowel causing a peculiar sweet smelling diarrhea. The treatment is usually Diflucan, an antifungal.
C-Diff is usually found in patients who have prolonged hospital or nursing home stays. There are virulent strains which may lead to death but those types of outbreaks have mostly been in Canada & England. I found it quite odd that Susan died from it since it hit her so suddenly & there didn't seem to be any symptoms before she died. I guess the writers were just looking for a way to kill her that was cool sounding & different. |

Thanks Fluffy! I knew it was a bacterial infection and that crap, and boy was it unpleasant, but I didn't know if maybe there was different strains of it or something that would kill her that fast. When I came down with it, the stupid fucks at the nursing home told me I had a UTI.

Yeah, I think the writers took an easy way out. Although I did have a friend who had diarrhea so badly with her C-Diff that she went into cardiac arrest from her potassium being so thrown out of whack. So anything's possible.
One thing that has amazed me since I became a nurse is how many of us are actually walking around healthy, as there are so many things that can kill you. |

Jesus Christ, why didn't they just stab the viewers tonight instead of making us watch heartbreak after heartbreak.
I don't even fucking care about Derek and Meredith but I just wanted the sad shit to end so I wanted to see them at least be happy when it came down to the end and everyone else was crushed. Oh well here's hoping Callie and George have their baby and Izzie fucks right off since George won't be at Seattle Grace anymore. |
