Sure, but that's not really a plot anyone wants to see....

Random thoughts on last week's 2-hour eppy:
*Hated the talking elevator. Really, really dumb plot device. Especially creepy that the security person "Tilly" is the one pulling these stunts. *More on the California cliches: (1) A medical clinic, of course, located near the beach. (2) Addison driving, of course, a restored, red convertible sports car with her hair flying all over the place and not getting tangled. (3) And that stupid surfer dude as the receptionist. *The stupid surfer dude's flabby abs + slightly droopy nipples and love handles + a haircut that covered up half his face DID NOT justify having Merrin Dungey & Amy Brenneman sit there and drool when he comes out to go surfing (shirtless and in surf shorts). They need to have a much hotter guy for the part if they're going to make us believe those women find him attractive. Also unbelievable was the flirting between Merrin Dungey and the surfer dude/receptionist. |

I am so tired of these characters feeling sorry for themselves, walking around as if the weight of the world is on them. They are truly pathetic.

Don't let any of your friends or relatives work in a hospital. Because if you do--some sort of medical emergency will happen to you while they are working there.

I liked this one too. At least it wasn't mixed in with that California shit.
Loved the previews of Christine with no eyebrows. |

I love a small article in this week's tv guide. It asks if there are any other hospitals in Seattle. Not only does everyone's family show up, but so do the ambulances with the "good" cases, politicians, etc. Hell, if Adele didn't want to see her ex-husband, go to a different freaking hospital.

I like the show, but I ablsolutely HATE the George/Izzie storyline. First, it's unrealistic. (Moreso than possible). Second, it's totally random. Third, it just is wrong.

Quote: I completely agree. It feels so wrong. I think they were perfect as best friends...it just doesn't seem right that all of a sudden they have decided they are 'in love' with each other. Oh and I agree with whoever said that the Adele angle in the episode was wierd. WHY would she go to Seattle Grace to get checked out knowing her husband is still there...the person she is trying to avoid. I mean..its obviously not the only health related place in Seattle. Course...you gotta remember its a TV show and not everything is going to be completely realistic but its still kind of dumb. I also agree the death of Susan was so unrealistic. They seem to be killing off people left and right just to surprise and shock the audience. Still love Cristina tho. But OF COURSE they have to play up the angle that she might be having second thoughts...so predictable.. Oh and I hate Jane Doe and Alex's weird relationship with her is turning into another Izzie/Denny situation. |

I also hate the Izzy/George storyline...but mostly it's just Izzy I hate. She's always following him around now listening to his conversations and giving him those eyes - he told you he doesn't want to betray his marriage again, leave him the fuck alone for five minutes.
Loved tonight's episode tho. I know everybody hates Meredith but I actually like her and was really upset with what her dad did...and loved the hug/cry moment with the chief! |

Isn't Private Practice looking more and more promising?!

Re: Grey's Anatomy: ER Jr. | ||

You know something? Honestly, I went back and watched Private Practice and I found myself enjoying it a LOT more than I did when it first aired.
Don't get me wrong, it still had its fare share of cringe-worthy moments ("I'm going to kiss you. I'm going to kiss you with tongue. And you're going to ~FEEL IT~.") -- but it wasn't half-bad. I still maintain that it showed definite promise, especially if they can that ridiculous surfer-receptionist character (and this is coming from someone that loves VMars and Chris Lowell). This season of Grey's has just been...ridiculous. So many botched storylines that have painted a lot of favorite characters into terrible corners and made them terrible, annoying people. For the first 2 seasons I was always just a casual viewer, this is the only season I've watched week-to-week, and after tonight I could barely take it anymore. The George-Izzie thing I never supported and never WILL support. I'm so fucking sick of all the bed-hopping on this show it's so redundant. I'm waiting for Karev to put the moves on Bailey. If that's the best they can do to conjure up some real drama on the show, the fuel tank must be on empty. |
