I could just tell I would like this show from the preview, (same with Desp. Housewives). I love the sexual tension between Gray and Shepherd.
Looks like next week they will all move in together. |

I didn't think it was supposed to be funny. I was just saying that at least Scrubs is worth watching.
I'm not a doctor or anything but all that shit they made interns do on their first 48 hours seems pretty unbelievable to me. |

I didn't think that I'd sit down and watch it, but I got the kiddos to bed on time. Loved the show, and will definitely watch it again. YUM has Patrick Dempsey grown up!
 I didn't watch the other show mentioned, so haven't really seen much of him since the teen flick "Can't Buy Me Love" Love the characters! |

I loved it too. As a nurse, I thought it was actually very realistic especially the hell they put the resident's through. The terminology was spot on. Oh, & for those who are asking about the title Grey's Anatomy, that's the title of a very respected & much studied medical textbook. It got me through nursing school.

I did recognize the phrase 'GREY'S ANATOMY.' Is the lead character supposed to be THE Grey's daughter?

Yes, it is based on the character "Meredith Gray"..the one who slept with the doctor.

I guess I'm the only one who didn't like the show. It's probably for the better. She's hot but I got enough to watch on Sundays.

I enjoyed it...but it had better stay on after DH, because at this point I'm not sure I'd follow it to another night. So if its going to be moving, it had better hook me really soon. It definately seems like it has some potential though.

I thought it was average. Passable. It was very cliche and unoriginal though. Sort of a mixture of Scrubs and ER, so it wasn't that compelling. It suffered from having to follow and be compared to Desperate Housewives.
I also didn't like the lead character...the actress is a mix of Calista Flockhart and Renee Zellweger.....just didn't work for me. |

It was ok, the first half and hour seemed really long for some reason. It was good but it doesn't draw me in but no shows centered around a hospital do.

Does anyone remember the short-lived Fox series Medicine Ball? Grey's Anatomy is very, very similar to that show. As originality goes, Medicine Ball wasn't so original (trying to capitalize on ER's fame), so Grey's Anatomy is even more unoriginal and look at all the shows that have preceded it (Gideon's Crossing, Presidio Med, MDS). However, Grey's Anatomy hooked me immediately and I really liked it. I don't know if it is something I would make a valiant effort to watch but I'll tune in after DH for the next few weeks. I'm sure ABC isn't keeping in after DH. Does anyone know where it will end up?
