damn, I should have known High Noon but, just had nothing

I had nothing, too, and would've guessed Rio Bravo if on the spot, knowing it was wrong.
her poker face gives me C H I L L SThe thing about Larissa is that I don't think it is a poker face. It's her day to day face. I don't think the Asperger's diagnosis discussed above is accurate, but if any of you watch Dexter on Showtime and know how he has to think beforehand about what to do in any given social situation, well... that's Larissa. And yeah, I bet she has ideas about what to do with a naughty librarian costume and props, but I bet that dweeb hubby's never given her the chance. (Larissa: call me.) Anyhow, she got awfully lucky on the Friday and Monday eps. Tonight's performance was pure scrappiness. Nicely, very nicely played. |

Still hate her.
I enjoyed rooting for Ken because he was fun about it. She's just a humourless robot who makes ridiculous wagers and lucks out. |

PS CP, I hate her too. I just think she's devoid of personality and has a superiority complex lurking beneath the surface. I'm pissed I missed the
shot of the husband.
But I do love how excited people are about Jeopardy right now. You need someone like her to do that. Judging by my audition room, you're not going to get really lovable, likeable people as potential multiple-day champs. That's just not what Jeopardy casts. |

Larissa is hot.
Christ, I'm starting to watch Jeopardy again and I can't believe how stupid Alex Trebek is. Art Fleming was the master. Ha! Great on today's show how that fat broad avoided shaking Larissa's hand! |

Another close call for Larissa. Again. Wow, she's probably gonna lose soon if this continues with her getting so close to her competitors by the end of
Final Jeopardy.
I thought the answer was "Breakfast at Tiffany's," even though I'm sure that it wasn't made in the 50's. Was it? I'm too lazy to look it up on imdb. |

^ The problem isn't Larissa since she still finished w/ 20, 000+ which is pretty damn good, it's that she keeps getting really competant competitors
that are able to rack up almost as much or more than that and for the number of shows she has played, there's more competant people than usual. She's
not slipping..she just keeps getting really good people to compete against.
_______________ X to the person that said that Jeopardy is more fun than it's been in a while and I actually find myself looking forward to it more than my Primetime shows these days. If Larissa were to lose it would just go back to the usual 'fun' quiz show w/ a nondescript random winner that will prob. last a day or 2 and then get dethroned. W/ Larissa there..there is someone to root for and it makes the show better. Haven't had someone like this since I want to say her name was Cecile? She was the one that ended up winning the Champion Tournament. When Larissa was down by 7k at one point I was freaking out but then she got it back and in the end I was convinced that both women would wager it all and lose and the guy would end up winning w/ like a couple thousand. Phew...
Yes and Eww. Why were they zooming in on his gross hitchhiker's thumb? He is Geek personified..just not salvagable at all. |

To the people with audio problems during...are you watching it on HD? That happened to us, so we started watching it the non-HD channel and it cleared up.

Damn! Sorry I missed seeing her husband! One day when he's no longer useful to her, he'll discover she's a sociopath ... the hard way ...
Regarding Final Jep, for some reason I got caught up trying to remember the title of "3:10 to Yuma." Never saw it -- neither the 1950s original or the recent Russell Crowe remake -- so I have no idea what happens in the story. It was just that the time kept gnawing at me, and I kept thinking it was "12:10 to Yuma." When they showed "High Noon," I knew the jig was up. |

OH NO!!!!!!!!
NOT FAIR! The guy that won got a bunch of Man catogories, including famous coaches and Navy Jets. She could have stayed in it for final Jeopardy had she not wagered 8 grand in the last clue which was a daily double. Im going to tune in tomorrow to see the guy loose. |

I knew Final Jeopardy was High Noon right away, but my boyfriend said "Gunfight at the OK Corral" and he had me doubting myself. My mom said "War of the Worlds". War of the Worlds? WTF? |
