I think by following the racial balancing, Tyra screwed the results up. Regardless of age and based on performance/portfolio, Nik should've won cycle 5, and Joanie cycle 6. Bu no, she can't have 3 Blacks win in a row, and she can't have another White win when Nicole just won.

No, Danielle is just flat out better than Joanie. Joanie may have been better in pictures, but Danielle beats her in every other aspect.

Elyse owned everyone that cycle. But she didn't kiss ass so she got thrown out of her ass. Plus, Tyra was on the Cinderella kick that cycle. She made it perfectly clear that cycle that models are made and not born.
I felt Mercedes was the perfect package in Cycle 2. But Yoanna's face was made for a Sephora ad campaign. Also Shandi cheated on her boyfriend which was not exactly model type behavior. Cycle 3, well Eva's smile was too perfect for CoverGirl even despite her height issues and the fact that Yaya owned her on the portfolio front. I preferred Brittany and Keenyah to Naima and Kahlen in Cycle 4. Even though I believe that Nicole was a better fit for CoverGirl, Nik did have the better portfolio. But there were several girls that cycle that were quite modelesque. Danielle rocked, enough said. |

How about ranking winner's reactions?
My favourite goes to Danielle. When she cried "Mommy! I'm a COVER GIRL! *sniff* A COVER GIRL!" I had a tear in my eye. It was the way she said "Cover Girl" that made me tear up. <3 Worst? Nicole screeching.  You can watch it all here... ANTM Winner's Reactions |

Haha, I also realised that Tyra did not have her weird and annoying intonnations during season 1. I guess she thinks that shouting the "who" in "who will be America's Next Top Model" every single time adds to the suspense and makes her seem more eloquent. -_____- |

As far as the winner's reactions, I thought Adrienne's was the best. Every time I see her face when Tyra shows her photo, I get goosebumps.

Cycle 2 is on Showcase (Diva, I think) now....it airs Saturday morning at 11 am and 8 pm (Atlantic). I missed the first 2 episodes but have loved it so far - the show really has changed in such a short period of time. Girls were attractive, shoots were good, etc. Love, love, love Shandi's Soltice picture.

Yohanna's picture is the best out of all of them. I liked it better before they had to do the stupid covergirl and look all commercial. Danielle is second best. Eva and Namia's stink compared to all the others.

Technically, that wasn't Adrienne's final picture. The last pic she took, she was nekkid on a bar with diamonds.
Is Kesse in the Maybelline mascara commercial where they're in the car? If it's not Kesse, the model looks a lot like her. |
