The Canadians and Aussies can get it right but ANTM continually goes for drama over true model potential. Sad.grim.pathetic. This season could have been
kick ass but Tyrant and company seem to consistently boot the girls with the most potential. Go figure. Gee who is left; hmmm...an old looking tranny, a +
sized model with a horrible makeover (she looked better without the spam sucking trailer trash hair do), a girl who looks great and takes great pics but
can't walk to save her soul, an Iman look-a-like whose pics are inconsistent and two true models who can walk, look great in person and take decents pics.
They will be the next to go. Wouldn't want to choose a real model afterall. |

So Dani and Jaslene have turned their top model statuses into catalogue work. They're now modeling their "Top Model Picks" for Metro Style catalogue. I don't know it just seems like they're moving backwards to me. But whatever pays the bills is always hot I guess. Here's some of the flicks:Working models sustain entire careers on catalogue work. Shit, Victoria's Secret is a catalogue. It's not moving backwards- it's paying the bills. Remember that most past contestants don't even get catalogue work. It's very lucrative work especially if you're not the face of a campaign. Being a model is not all runway shows, that don't pay very well, or cosmetics campaigns, that only a very few models land. There is a lot of less glamorous grunt work that working models do when building a career. |

I love Caridee and the episode where my feelings toward Nigel turned to loathe aired today...
The bullfighting photoshoot where Caridee joking makes a wise crack at Nigel and he completely has a diva fit and rips into her for being inappropriate, rude, classless, stabbing his puppy, tactless, etc. Even after she apologized and cried, he still wanted her to sacrifice her life and lick his balls and taint to make her pay for one little wise crack. I notice more and more that he totally favors the girls who show him attention and stroke his ego... I wonder how many models he's had on the casting couch... errrr photo couch? |

 Jenah = most rawbed contestant evar.
I love how Tyra kept acknowledging that she was rigging that shit through-out the competition. "Jenah takes the best pictures!", "Chantal and Saleisha, you two didn't take the best pictures, but you two have INNER BEAUTY!!11!1" (gag), and cut the girls with actual potential, Jenah and Lisa. |

I only watch ANTM marathons, now while the current cycle is actually happening, but for Cycle 9, Bianca was my favorite though I understand why she was cut. I
think Saleshia won in part for the same reasons why Syesha is in the final 3 of AI--other more promising models crashed and burned out along the way.

Lisa was definitely robbed. No way should people like Bianca, Saleisha, and Chantal finish ahead of her. Lisa was consistently one of the stronger competitors
and she was edgy and sharp, plus her legs were always hot! The final three should have been: Lisa, Heather, and Jenah. Who cares about personality? ANTM keeps
selecting crappy ones anyways!
