I'm sure Edie will be back, unfortunately I'm sure Mike will be back as well, though I'm hoping maybe Mike was killed off and we get flashback scenes showing an accident, thus after a few years, Susan remarries.

Also, with the name thing from the beginning (Gabby explaining that she wouldn't be as pretty if she had a different name), I think that's funny considering Gabby ended up with children that aren't what she probably expected.

No way any woman caves on a name like 'Maynard'. Tom grew a pair for about 30 seconds, & then he revert to his whiny self by playing Mr. Passive-Agressive in blaming Lynette for Kayla's leaving. He redeemed it w/ the gays, but lost me again in the flashfrwrd when the cop was there. I LOVE LOVE LOVE frumpy housewife Gabby!!!! 1st, I love how completely ELP wrapped her arms around it. Gabby finally settles in to be a wife & not a trophy. And Gabby was suuuuuuuuper-dooper supportive of the girls in the fashion show... HATE HATE HATE future Susan -- just shows how much Teri Hatcher stomped her feet about not wanting to look older. ~~~~~~~~ Julie & Dylan not being around isn't off the wall (although sad to see Julie go); 5 yrs their out of college & either getting MBA's or living/working in some other city. I'm kinda mad that Julie, Dylan and Danielle never had the chance to share a scene together! Ugh!! I know it might not have been much, but I'll have to rewatch the Halloween ep @ the gays party -- I'm pretty sure all 3 girls were in attendance... If they didn't interact, it truly was a lost opportunity.

I do not mind Bree as a future Martha Stewart type but I wonder why Katherine isn't as famous. I do wish Zack Young would come back in season 5 with plans of getting Julie. I do not buy that they plan to write Julie out as all Susan's best scenes are with Julie. I was surprised he never came back for her and instead made some play for Gabby. There is no way the suits will let Mark Cherry do a whole season in the past though even if Cherry wants to do it.

I'm guessing so will Danielle. And I'm just really hating the direction they've taken Bree in. Its just so...ugh. I can't even know what to say. As I was watching her flash forward scene and she was telling Andrew that she was going upstairs to take a bath with her husband...I was hoping she'd say "Rex"...instead we heard her say "Orson". Fck, fck, FCK!!! Why oh why couldn't she have said Rex!?!? Now THAT would've been some soap opera sht right there! Straight out of Melrose Place (remember the return of the newly evil Kimberly Shaw? That was fan-freakin-tastic!). Anywho...yeah. That 5 year flash forward to left much to be desired. MUCH!

Relax. Twas just a glimpse. There IS a chance Paul Young, Edie, Julie, and whoever else will be back. We just saw a little piece of what the 5 women are up to in 5 years.

So I expect Julie to return for at least 1 or 2 episodes.

More than you think; it's a myth that everyone who goes to college never moves back home (or that it's a big deal). Both my sister and I did. I honestly don't know many people (who don't continue going to grad school right away) who have the type of money to move out right after college. Most people I know waited at least a little while until they had a job where they were making a steady income.

You would have thought those last 2 minutes of the finale was the entire 5th season the way some of y'all are panicking and having conniptions! Don't panic people! We will get ~~all of~~ ~~most of~~ some of the answers to our questions soon! This is why I think the "flash forward" is a good move... it's got eople talking, speculating, worrying, etc. about what's about to happen. The 5th season premiere will be the 2nd highest total viewers season premiere (aside from seaon 1) because everybody either wants to know what happened or how this is going to play out. Kudos to the writers for making such a bold move!

Bree vs. Kat...delicious. Btw, I don't think I've ever seen any of the housewives in the same outfit twice. Watching the season finale, I remember seeing Katherine wearing the same blouse in earlier in the season during the legendary "pie episode" (SoaSM). Whats up with that?
